Dugi:
Guide for Swamp of Sorrows (48-49) has the waypoint for quest Challenge Overlord Mok’ Morokk. It took me back to Swamp of Sorrows when in reality it is in Dustwallow Marsh.
Using latest version (4.053) but noticed the guide no longer informs you of quests which are not part of the current guide you have selected. Like others, having issue with guide not advancing automatically.
can you tell me which quest that’s not auto complete for you?
Sry did not keep a log going but will from here on out. Also noticed the Leveling tab no longer indicate % complete of past or current guides. Any plans to add this feature back in? Will quests not part of the currently selected guide show red?
Dugi,,, Thank you for your effort to make this guide as convient for everyone as possible…. I’ve downloaded the v4,
on the day it was released. and so far i cannot say i’m satisfied. I like the whole ideas and ACTUAL products, but there’s still many errors that makes me very confuse throughout the game.
1) The check for the each quest does not correctly tell me the quests that i’ve already completed.
2) The tom tom arrow sometimes point me to places that are not there.
It makes me very confused throughout the gameplay, and i want to ask you if you can help me. Please let me know as soon as possible…
Do you have the latest version installed? we fixed alot of the reported bug from the initial build the latest version is v4.051
2 Suggestions.
Suggestion 1: It would be nice to be able to lock the guide in place and unlock if needed to move.
Suggestion 2: It would be cool if there were skin choices.
I have no idea what it takes to make an AddOn, just giving some suggestions. Thanks for all the hard work.
Game on!
This is going along with all the other comments about auberdine, I suggest you play a toon through to see the quest order issues
Hey, Im having a problem with the guide. When I look into my Addon folder in game, it says dependencie missing Dugisguide _ Viewer. I checked and this is still in the folder? Am I missing something?
Yes if you’re still getting the message dependencies missing then you’re still using a very old version of the addon. Make sure you delete all DugisGuide* folder and start a fresh install, the only folder that you would need now is DugisGuideViewerZ and TomTom
Make sure you have the latest version which is currently v4.05
Sorry Dugi, but in the *.zip, you’ve forgot to wrap the files in the folder “DugisGuideViewerZ”.
Until fixed, I’ve posted a solution here:
https://www.ultimatewowguide.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1507
🙂
sorry about that 🙁 , its fixed again now.
i have downloaded the latest version
You were right the first time, there was a small error with our zip file the folder was not structured properly
Download the files again.
1. Make sure that the files are unzipped, watch this video instruction
https://www.ultimatewowguide.com/installing_addons.html
2. Make sure that you don’t have 2 copies of World of Warcraft, double check that you have the correct folder by checking your wow
shortcut icon.
3. Make sure that it is inside World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\
Correct
World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\TomTom\
World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\DugisGuideViewerZ\
Incorrect
World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\DugisGuideViewerZ.zip
World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\TomTom\TomTom\
World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\DugisGuideViewerZ\DugisGuideViewerZ\
etc…
4. So you should now have
Dugi’s Guide Viewer v4
TomTom
in your addons menu and make sure they’re ticked with ‘load out date addons’ ticked aswell.
Awsome! I’ve edited all the threads I’ve made about it on the forum, so people is aware that it has been fixed.
Thank you for the quick response 🙂
