i.e I kill a quest mob, pickup quest item, or turn in quest
I’ve installed the mod manually, i’ve tried disabling the dugi guide addon and that fixes it
The version is 1.114. Is it the latest? or do i have to use the installer?
July 19, 2020 at 4:07 am #168122Hi, it’s very likely a conflict with another addon that you’re using can you test with only Dugi enabled.July 19, 2020 at 12:15 pm #168123So I tried with all addons disabled except dugi and still get 10 fps drop. With both questie and dugi enabled I get a 20 fps drop each time quest updates
July 20, 2020 at 4:05 am #170632I suggest to boot Windows in ‘clean boot’ this will minimize any interference from drivers, programs etc.- Press winkey + R and type msconfig and hit Enter on your keyboard.
- Click Services.
- Click the checkbox next to Hide all Microsoft services.
- Click Disable all.
- Reboot computer.
Run the game, ensure that all addons are disabled including dugi. Accept and complete a few quests, while keeping a close eye on the fps.Log out of the game, at character select screen enable Dugi guides. Accept and complete a few quests, while keeping a close eye on the fps.Report back here with findings please. To undo clean boot.- Press winkey + R and type msconfig and hit enter on your keyboard.
- Click Services.
- Click the checkbox next to Hide all Microsoft services.
- Click Enable all.
- Reboot computer.
July 22, 2020 at 7:14 am #168125This solution fixes long loading screens so why not this.World of Warcraft_classic_CacheADBenUSDBCache.binLog out / Close wow
Find DBCache.bin in the path above
Copy/backup the file to a safe location – just in case
Delete the file in the folder above – Only the file!Log in to wow – a new file is created by the clientNone of your info / settings is deleted – it’s just a junk file that grows bigger and bigger over time. If Blizzard did this automatically many headaches would be gone ;PIt’s worth a shot.July 31, 2020 at 2:24 pm #168135I have noticed the same thing recently. I get the following error.Date: 2020-07-31 03:18:29

Sometimes drops FPS when turning in quests.
August 11, 2020 at 5:43 am #170627what have you tried to do to remedy the situation?
have you tried to disable all addons excluding Dugi Guides?while only dugi enabled have you tried /dugi fix, *will reset all settings*With no info it’s like stabbing in the dark.August 12, 2020 at 4:00 am #168137I have tried with Just Dugi Guides loaded. Still have the problem. I have not done “/dugi fix” I didn’t know that was a command. I did post the LUA error I’m getting, but don’t have coding knowledge to see what the problem is. I assume it has something to do with line “471” or possibly 458, 572, 544? I haven’t received an update in a while.
August 12, 2020 at 10:11 am #170622In that case I’d start off with ensuring that the addon is updated, as we have verified that theres no conflict with an addon or a setting. This situation may be the likely cause is either a corrupt file or out of date.In Dugi Installer click Settings button, ensure that the wow path’s are correct, you can click Auto Detect Paths button, or manually enter the path.Ensure that your (dugi website/forum) Username & Password is correct.
Click Repair button; this will remove all saved variables and dugi guides addon.Once complete, click on Ok button.
Click on the Ok button again.
If the installer does not download the latest version automatically, click Reinstall.
Lets see what happens now. -
