      I am doing all the exploration guides for BFA and the guides have been taking through the middle of alliance areas , to their flight masters  to get to different points. I looked through the config, didn’t see anywhere I could set the guide to horde manually.

        Did you happen to import your profile from an alliance character? That’s the only thing i can think of, as then it would maybe have copied data about the alliance flightmasters to your horde toons profile? Otherwise it shouldn’t use a flightmaster it hasn’t cached as learned?
