I have been using the guide sharing with a friend. They initiated it. I have logged on to play without them and my guide will not update because I do not have the option of disconnecting the guide sharing. I just keep getting a message that “No player named “friend” is currently playing” and my guide will not move forward. I have checked the step off, but it will not move to the next step. I have had to wait for them to log in and turn the guide sharing off from their side. Please enable guide sharing to be turned off by both parties.
Hi, the guide sharing can be disabled both ends follow these steps: right click on the DG icon or right click on the guide frame, click on the gear cog, find Guide Sharing BETA, Click remove next to the invited player or you can uncheck Enable Guide Sharing.
Perhaps a screenshot or short video recorded (using Fraps or directly from phone etc.) to help explain the issue further if my suggestions don’t work.
