I’m excited to announce that new Gear Advisor feature is now available with the latest update of Dugi Guides. This is a free update for ALL Dugi Guides users.
The Gear Advisor feature offers:
- Automated gear suggestion based on your class, level and spec.
- Advanced weight calculation to ensure you equip the best set for DPS, Tanking or Healing
- Quest rewards suggestion to help you pick the best gear for your class & active spec
- Easy one click gear switching by using Dugi Smart Set in your equipment manager
- Upgrade value comparison displayed in tooltip.
This is called a beta release because we’re not 100% finish with it but the core feature is ready for you to use and test. We’re still working on adding more customization options and also support for PVP set after 5.3 is released.
Once it is all complete we will offer more support and release a detailed instructional video on how the feature works and how you can customize it to your advantage.

i am confused about setting the gear modifiers. i would like to reset back to default and then understand why your team set decimal points on choices. where is an explanation as to why settings were made?
hi the stat weights are used to determine the score value based on importances for the Character spec, we use similar stat weights as AsKMrRobot.com, we currently don’t offer any detailed explanations for it but the default values should be good and best left alone if you’re unsure

I really like your Gear Advisor, but if I’m honest don’t really like the rest of your addon, do you think it would be possible to get a stand-alone version of your advisor?

how i join your guild
i like this but it does have a bug, i was in prot spec and it suggested me to equip a int shield. Sacrificing my parry and stam stats. But when it works, it works. I like it.
@Esp, I can’t comment whether its wrong or correct unless you link both items or a screenshot. But I would wager that the Gear Advisor is likely correct.
im having trouble with your equipment guid..it keeps trying to repace gear that is clearly not better than what I have…also when I mouse over gear all of the windows flash,the gear im hovering over and the stuff in my bags…there should be a button to turn it off if you don’t want to use it
You can turn it off in the settings menu.
