I really Enjoy the revamped Azshara with all the goblins and the use of some of the old quest lines.

I love stranglethorn valley as a whole before cataclysm the north after cata cus its where the azeroth Nesingwary quests are

My choice would have to be the Goblin starting area at Lost Isles, very cool with the trike and the mob type quests. But EPL would have to be a close second, especially after taking an alt through for the first time since cataclysm and my first time since vanilla. Back when I was grinding for that last ding to 60 before I ever knew what rested XP was!

Thousand Needles. The zone is out of the way (and not in Dugi Guides), so I suspect a lot of people miss out on the changes. The Shimmering Flats as well as the rest of the gorge is under water, but that doesn’t hinder you as early questing yields both a jet propelled, under water breathing aparatus and also a boat (which you captain like any other mount). There is one quest line where a bunch of baby chimeras follow you (and you have to love the conclusion). One other side benefit is that if you are also going to dungeons while you level, you will get Razorfen Downs while here. The dungeon has quests with turn ins at the beginning that are a PITA to get to at the end. If you are questing in Thousand Needles, no problem as the dungeon entrances is in this zone. So definitely check out Thousand Needles (and add it to the levelling guide, even though it competes with Eastern Plaquelands).

Goldshire!! I feel it is one of the better places, because you can get some of your skills levels started pretty easy there. You can get you skinning, fishing, or cooking up fairly fast and it is all on one area. The other reason is because higher level toons are there sometimes also, so if you are having a problem with a monster you can ask for help or hints as to the best way to attack that monster. Come on what more can you ask for. 😉 (Rexxar: Guild name: Never To Old To Play WoW) We had one player that was going to 72 years young this year, but he passed away in January of a heart attack, he played almost every day. We miss him…. but I’m sure that he is still playing. 😉

since the release of cata i like all of the 1-60 zones they made the leveling experience a lot funner and its not the same old boring stuff from vanilla. win cata released i was really pumped up to level a new character, but then i got to the outlands then i wasn’t so excited to level again

I love Tristfall Glades and what they did with the cata update to the undead town Brill it was the first place I saw in wow and what got me to love it so much.

For me is the Western and Easter Plague lands. The exp gains and story and rich dungeons. You would really like it and. It would challenge players. It always find best gear drops and stuff for the level. It also get you to group up.

I’ve played WoW for 3 years now, and Nagrand is the zone i pick. The quests are ok, but the feel of the zone is much nicer than most others.

For me, it’s a tossup among Un’Goro, Felwood, and Winterspring. I spent a lot of time leveling in both Un’Goro and Felwood, and enjoyed the ambiance of both. Hated the long trek north/south in Felwood, though! Winterspring is one of those zones where you realize that Blizzard just had a good time putting it together. It’s so well done that you feel cold the whole time you’re there.

I would have to say my favorite zone was stranglethorn becuase of the adventure theme as well as the wild animals and jungle feel, but there are so many zones it is hard to pick just one becuase I actually like most zones in the game; to me they were all unique in their own way.

I always loved going to Darkshore. I felt the toons were starting to level up enough to get a good feel for their strengths and weaknesses. The guests are interesting and challenging.

My favorite zone is The Stranglethorne Vale. I love Booty Bay! Its old school and suspenseful- specially when Im on my ally. The mobs out there are brutal and the nearing jungle area is awesome (specially Gorillas lol). Im a BIG fantasy gamer (dnd 17 yrs) so Goblins are huge for me, especially what they do in their lives. =D

Westfall is most memorable because as a noob I was so proud of myself for finally killing this guy that was camping me. My triumph was short loved however when my friend laughed hyserically when I told about this “defias smuggler” guy that I finally got the best of. LOL.

Dun Morogh has to be mine for many reason’s. It has easy access to many different places including Stormwind; you get to fight troll’s almost right off the bat to get some what of a classic “Alliance vs Horde” feel. The game designers did a very good job of designing the mountains and landscape to make for a very beautiful starting location. Not to mention it’s home to two of the greatest races “Gnome and Dwarf”. It’s one of the original locations of wow and still one of the best! 🙂

Although it has been a while, I always enjoyed Shimmering Flats. I liked the Bonneville Salt Flats look; but it was the first place where I could really increase my rate of gaining XP (in the days where you didn’t get a mount until level 40). The circular pattern and the sheer number of mobs was perfect. And there was always the opportunity to grab a drink, sit in the stands and take side bets on whose racer was going to win.

Ungoro Crater is one of my favorites because the questing is generally close together since its not a big zone and it is or was (havnt been there in quite some time) a great place to mine and skin. At one point the “soil” there sold very well. Lastly, on my RP server it is a hotbed for PVP activity. Nothing like having to look over your shoulder constantly in an effort to avoid being ganked.

My favorite zone was Thousand Needles. Many of the quests were atop the needles as I referred to them, challenging to find your way up there and having to be careful so as not to fall off and inevetibly die were and kept me on my toes. I am relatively new to the game and have only taken my Warlock through the area. I am ready to take my Pally through there now to see what weeds I can pull to level my herbalism and alchemy. I am also looking forward to the Cata shanges to the area as I understand most of it now is under water.

I have to go with Winterspring as my favorite <60 zone. I like the silence of the snow and there is abundant materials for a skinner/leatherworker.

Arathi Highland was one of my favorite place to play when i arrived there for the first time and my best dungeon was Dire Maul
