my favorite is Tirisfall Glades just because back in the days when you where done leveling there and you had to go to undeadcity i was sceard because of thoes big ugly monsters :p i thought they would eat me alive!!!. with the new stuff in wow its fun leveling everywhere in the low levels you dont have to run as much theres always an npc that does something to bring you to the other place its a good thing atleast people wont log off cause they have to run so far away 😛
My favorite 1-60 zone is definetly Ghostlands. It’s always fun to level in Ghostlands because zone is beautiful and quests are fun. Back in the wotlk you could also dodge most of Barrens questing by going to Ghostland instead ^^
My favorite is Stranglethorn. I like the hunting in the north and the quests and combined AH in Booty Bay.
I have a love / hate relationship with WOW. I’ve been playing WOW on and off for a few years. Starting because friends talked about it and making me jealous I wasn’t playing and stopping again because I became bored easily. The reason I became bored isn’t because WOW is boring… it’s because there is way too much awesome and fun stuff to see, do and experience. That’s exactly the reason I _love_ what dugi has done with his guides. It gives me something to hold on to, a guide to help me enjoy everything step by step. Having said all that, here’s the real answer to the question:
My absolute favorite area is the new starting zone for the goblins. Kezan and the storyline are so epic it’s indescribable!
The story is so hilarious and the characters are perfectly placed. I wasn’t bored for a second and wanted more! It made me want to play WOW again, and I’m still going strong. My Goblin priest is now lvl 60 and hopefully this will become my first max lvl char since I started playing WOW yeaaaars ago.
Thanks for making me enjoy the game again Dugi!
When looking at the revamped lands of World of Warcraft, I had a fondness of Hillsbrad, and now the transformation has really intrigued me. In the past the competition from South Shore to Tarren Mill always brought up good times when a player would get bored and attack each other little town. Now it shows the rise of the power of the Forsaken, the use of corruption knowledge and power to overtake a small, but powerful town to a pile of ruins. The changing of the lands to where the Forsaken has also taken over Durnholde Keep shows do not count out the Forsaken, as the Orcs the Forsaken has not lost land but gained a foothold to Azeroth. The living Alliance and Horde will need to keep an steady eye on the Forsaken, they are not done and even though Banshee Queen, Sylvanas Windrunner may say they are for the Horde, her true intentions have not blossomed, the corrupted roots of Sylvanas are just spreading and her true deadly plant will blossom attempting to kill all.
Ever since the dungeon queues came active i have done nothing but queue. I love it not only do you get a leg up on armor and weapons you learn to work as a team on runs what you can do as member regardless of your class. Make mistakes an learn from them so you can be a better player for your team mates. Its just an awesome way to play i love my dungeons.
Stonetalon Mountains is my personal favorite so far. Just started wow a couple of months ago and don’t have to much to play so yeah only level 34 but I really enjoy the content so far :). Anyways back on track I like the stonetalon mountains because you enter a little armry and the you have to graduate into it as a hero and the last quest in that zone is so epic lol. I love to see Garrosh taking the other orc and let it fall to his death. Thank you for reading this. Have fun, Have a nice day.

I think my favorite leveling zone would have to be duskwood. The fact you where in a dark wooded area and it was spooky made it very cool. It sort of felt like a scary movie. Very well done area.
Gilneas. Not only are the quests amazing, but the atmosphere is also really well done. The use of phasing makes it seem a lot more ambient and it’s as if you’re actually doing something that matters, which is reflected by the terrain.
Rollin’ with my homies in the gobbo starting area was probably the absolute most fun I’ve had in a 1-60 zone. Playing shredder football and running over the thugs…it just can’t be beat! =D
Favorite leveling zone by far is STV. even after the cata drops on a pvp server its a awesome place to be. you actually have to think about being stealthy and sneaking as oppose to just accepting and completing quests. Adding the fishing weekly contest makes it a zone that you get to level through and then come back at 85 and still enjoy.
Western Plaguelands were always a place I used to go to, probably because I am a paladin and I love the lore, the place hosts the tomb of one of the greatest paladins in the history of Warcraft and about the leveling it used to be a place where there were not a lot of tension between the horde and the alliance since most of the people preferred to level in places closer to the main cities. The place is having a big scourge undead presence so as a paladin I always got a benefit to use my anti-undead spells in there so the leveling tend to be easy and fast. On the story side Blizzard did an amazing job revamping the place now and after Cataclysm there seem to be a bit more of a population of leveling players in there, the story got really improved now with Western Plaguelands hosting the Argent Crusade main base, also having the Cenarion Druid camp where you can get into a chain of very funny quests which, and aside from that the Andorhal story between the two former scourge Death Knights – Koltira Deathweaver and Thassarian is a thing that every person who loves the lore will like, there are a lot of other interesting things in the zone (the tomb of Uther the Lightbringer is still there and looks even better than before) but I don’t wanna spoil the fun for all of the people that might read that and still wanna see the zone for themselves.
When I finally decided to play WoW, after all the pressure, the first character I rolled was a blood elf. I didn’t have any guides then, and didn’t even know about any addons or even Wowhead. I decided to everything I could. Looking back, it seems like it took forever to do all the quests in Eversong Woods. I loved Falconwing Square, but imagine how I felt the first time seeing Silvermoon City!!!!!! It was huge. There were so many quests around. I accidentally translocated to Undercity, and went right back. Too much too soon. I love farming mobs for wool for the rep turn ins to the clothmasters. I didn’t know I could go on to the auction house. Now, much later, although the leveling goes faster with guides like Dugi, I still find so much a can doo that I’ve never even tapped into after all these years. Rep farming, arenas, raids. But, I still go back to Eversong Woods and walk around. My only regret is the way Mana Tap used to be, I think that’s the name of the spell. But it’s still great. And the blood elves are hot.
well There is no best zone, WOW is beast by itself.
My favorite zone is westfall, the raven hill areas is really cool, but I love playing all zones with dugi’s guide my playing time is well spent because I go to the quest can complete it, as before I did a lot of time wasting running around. Thank You Dugi.
DeadMines-The original
I have to say that I started WoW about 6 years ago, as a way to stay in touch with my nephew. We would always meet up and do A Dead Mine run and had a blast getting caught up on what was happening in his life (I lived overseas at the time so it was very special for me)
I enjoyed the story line and the diversity of the first dungeon ever, and I found the graphics really cool
Hi there.
TBH my totaly most favorite zone is Silithus, with the new Uldum being a nice competition for it… But maybe because Ahn´Quiraj instances are so awsomely cool even now on lvl85 im going for Silithus on this one 😀 Plus the rep for the Guardian of Cenarius 🙂
My favorite zone is Redridge Mountains. reason is that it was the first zone I got real challenges. And with Catacly, storyline was really interesting. special quest chain with the boat, behind enemy line
I love westfall, I always have for some reason, maybe because Deadmines was my first ever dungeon, it maybe stupid but I remember a real feeling of trepidation as I entered it even though I was with 4 guildies.
But, now, what they have done and the way they have integrated the previous story line to what it is now (updated) IE its now Van Cleefs Daughter Vanessa who’s the big baddie.
Seeing all the homeless folks is sad, particularly the children, I think they have really made Westfall feel alive, how it grabs you and draws you in to the story line, both from before and now.
When you do the quest (cant remember the name) but in Moonbrook the Shaman gives you an orb to see back in the past, and Van Cleef is slain.
Then his little girl appears,
God that really got to me.
If you played before and have not seen this cut scene, you really do need to IMO.
Has to be revamped Silverpine Forest. The questlines feel so epic the lore is amazing and you get to ride with Lady Sylvanas Windrunner. The entire area has been upgraded so much compared to how it used to be it is almost unrecognizable. Only thing I miss is skinning the worgen. Run through there yourself on an alt or a main. It is so worth the time spent there now.
