Call me nostalgic if you wish but I loved the old Elwyn Forest as this was the start of my adventures in wow. As a low level character i got so many times i was thinking of writing an obituary but it gave me an excellent look into the world of wow and got me hooked on the game. Looking back now and running lots of toons through the area it seems easy but like most first times it was not. I had no help but found it fun to nut out the ins and outs of the game.
Keep up the good work with your guides Dugi

Silverpine Forest is my choice. I recall seeking out Arjula (sp?) just because he killed me upon our first meeting. I loved the variety of quest and characters in Silverpine. Initially, my sole intent was making it to Tarren Mill, however, I arrived at the Sepulcher and the fun began. Silverpine has remained dear to this day. I recently returned to Silverpine (I missed the old world) to complete the quest and once again I discovered a fascinating world.

My favourite is DUSKWOOD – without a doubt. I’ve always loved the fact that Duskwood and Darkshire have been the epiteme of bringing Halloween to life in a natural, creepy and threatening manner without going over the top or being silly. I’ve always loved the quest lines and stories there but since Cataclysm I now have some new characters I’m taking through the level and my goodness, what was already good is now superb!

Far less running around to get from quest givers to doing the quests, Raven Hill now has an FP and finally after years and years of hoping, the sentral circular section of the map is being used for Archeology. I miss seeing the collossal dragon in there but digging for artefacts is a definite bonus.

All the quests to do with the Hermit are now far easier as he’s been relocated and as Stitches appears right in Darkshire town square the moment you get the quest is fantastic. No more running out of town and leaving everyone else to deal with the problem. You caused it – you deal with it! Brilliant stuff. Duskwood definitely rules. Yay!!

This is easy. Ragefire Chasm. It’s the first instance you encounter for Horde, and not too long. It’s nostalgically an easy pick.

My favorite 1-60 zone is the goblin starting area. You get drive a hotrod, fly a plane and slap some monkeys around… doesnt’ get much better than that. My favorite 1-60 instance has to be the Library in Scarlet Monastery. It was a sad day when they removed Doan’s chest with the Scarlet Key. That was something all of my characters aspired to obtain from the day they were conceived from the welcome screen.

Keep up the great work Dugi Staff, I look forward to the Loremaster guide.

well.. dugi.. its kindly hard to find a special zone since most of them are rlly cool… but personally i love winterspring.. the white zone is very enjoyable if u find the correct way of doing the quests.. all the mobs in this area are cool, i also love the winterspring tiger.. its so badass. And what about the chimaeras?? they’re blue breath makes me remember dinasours, not sure why yet.. but im still looking for an answer :)…there are many things to say but that is what i most like from this zone. I hope u do 2 🙂

I would opt for Stranglethorn as my favorite area to quest. What can I say I like pirates (Arrrrr!) That and I am a skinner by trade and there is ample critters to skin here.

    • Robert

Stranglethorn Vale, because of all the thing’s you can do there, it is a beautiful and amazing zone. There is something for every profession, class and type player. I enjoyed the Green Hills of Stranglethorn quest line, the fishing contests, arena and the list goes on. I’ve been playing wow since it first came out and will never stop. I bought Dugis guide as soon as I heard about it from a friend cant remember how long its been.

I have to say, now that I’m a higher (sort of) level in the game, my favorite spot for lvl 60+ for gold farming, has to be the Burning Steps. Monsters are easy to kill there, and the longer you wait, the more gold you get. The best place for leveling, however, is up in Terrokar forest, near Shattrath. The Outland is already famous for good drops, and easy quests, but the quests in Terrokar, involving those wierd, moonkin things, Arraoka I think, often have an easy questing system, which most can be stalked above ground, on your flying mount. Besides, when you get exalted with the people who give the quests I’m thinking of (can’t remember who), they give you sweet weapons, and unique rep flying mounts.

Hey fellow wower’s ! I like ungoro crater especially the quest were you have to help save 3 damsells in distress, the guy you have to follow is halarious, have fun everyone and be nice to all your fellow gamers. :]

My favorite zone is the ghostlands, this zone to me holds a very special place because this is were i spent alot of my time playing the game when i first started to play the game. This zone is the one that made me Hooked for good on the game Blizzard calls wow. I Hade a rouge and when I got to the ghost lands I got so upseat with speanding every other Mintue dieing, so I deleted the toon and made a hunter. The hunter I made is now a lvl 82 and he is my first toon of the game and I reamber going through the ghostland with my hunter and haveing so much fun. I love the long norrow trench that runs through the zone, the whole zone was a good zone just to see the brilance behinde the devlopment of wow.

I’ve been playing WOW since the game came to market. My first toon was an orc warrior and I remember doing Molten Core with a 40 man raid. That is and has been by far my most favorite time playing WOW. I remember, after spending so long beating down Ragnaros to as low as 2% health, to fall defeated over and over again. Back then, every person had a role and if you didn’t do your job, it was a wipe. If you didn’t have the right equipment, it was a wipe. I guess that is when I learned perseverance pays off in the end. My greatest hour: being the last man standing and using Execute to take Ragnaros down. It seems nothing else in the game has been a greater challenge with as great satisfaction as that moment…one I’ll never forget.

My favorite 1-60 zone has to be STV. I remember playing there on my Dwarf hunter (main) when he was around level 38-45 I became obsessed over taming the raptor at the end of the Raptor Mastery Quest chain. Infortunatley I mustve died a million times before I realized I ncould cast freeze trap and then tame beast so the Raptor wouldn’t kill me. Haha I have so many good memories fishiing in booty bay and killing gorillas. Oh and who could ever forget the rare .000001% drop Hyacinth Maccaw probably one of the only pets I’ve ever farmed for. Unfortunatley because I kept farming for it I stayed in STV longer than id intended. But luckily I the last kill I made on one of those freaking bloodsail pirates not only dinged me 45 but also dropped the Maccaw. I was so psyched I immediatley equipped it and started showing it off. I didn’t even realize it was worht like 7K gold. Man what I could’ve done with that gold at the time. Any weapon I want enchants and gems for higher levels. I could have even powerleveled a prof to 300 but nope I equipped it instead. I still occasionally go back to STV on my hunter and every time I travel to booty bay I have to kill at least 10 of the Bloodsail Pirates just in case I got lucky again

My favorite zone has to be the new Gnomeragon starting zone because of all of the gnome’s genius inventions and how you have to be de-irradiated is hilarious!!

    • jacob

Hmm, my favorite leveling zone would have to be the ghostlands, i just love how blizzard made the quests in this zone, it was my first speed leveling zone, and i can power through the quests here so fast that i dont make characters other than blood elves due to the speed at which i can go through the zone, with dugi’s guide its even faster than when i first started powering through ghostlands on my first paladin back when BC released.

    • Erik

My favorite zone is Azshara. Sure it’s low level, but the quests are fun. Helping a raptor launch himself into space… Trying to fix a giant’s constipation issues… And who doesn’t love riding around on the rocketway? It might not be as exciting as the higher level zones, but Azshara will always remain one of my favorites.

    • Otso Castren

I have to say my favorite is Tirisfal Glades. I just loved how Blizzard had made Arthases childhood lands into an place of horror. Especially after I went to the Throne Room of King Terenas, and seeing the once proud hall and chair, now destroyed by his son’s betrayal.

    • Gary Palmer

My favorite is the chain quest for Rhea’s egg. At first, I didn’t like it because killing Nyxondra with ranged dps seemed impossible, but the challenge was there and learning how to overcome it was a great learning experience that sustains me through other levels of difficulty.

    • Alain Jung

My favorite 1-60 zone is Stranglethorn Vale. This is the zone where I discovered wild pvp 🙂

    • jb4479

I started playing just after BC came out. My first character was an Orc but since I had really no idea what I was doing, it was eventually deleted. I only really started in on the new BC zones after about a year. I played on a new server and had a BElf Hunter, the integration of Eversong Forest and Ghostlands was amazing compared to the other zones. I think that they are still my faves even though Cataclysm has cleaned up the others and made them more efficient as well.
