I love the new starting zone for the worgen, I’ve just finished both plagelands and for the first time I really enjoyed doing them, ( did’nt like them before cata) Darkshore was great fun, so for me right now it has to be the western plagelands, it was great fun and I was surprised with the change of the place.

My fave dungeon has to be ***** Rock Depths, mainly for the memories I have of vanilla wow and the people I used to play with way back when. The trouble you could get into back then when every man and his dog wasn’t OP, good times…

For me, it’s the Un’Goro Crater. This zone has a great feel to it, very Lost World. I love the balance of the mysterious, with the crater artifacts, and the horror of the Silithids (which I hate hate hate).

I like that it’s not that easy to get to the zone in the first place; the quest lines unfold and take you there and you eventually find a flightpath, but somehow that adds to the promise of the zone, and keeps it special.

And then there are the dinosaurs! I had great fun running ’round killing and skinning, and even getting stomped by the wandering elites; there was a real fear there, combined with the lush greenery made for a great playzone.

The zone still feels special to me on every visit.

My favorite zone? That would be like picking my favorite child. But if I’m pressed, Id go westfall.

My favorite is the starting zone of the goblins, Kazan, very cute and interesting storyline, so different to the usual starting quests. Awesome to be the one who is helping them rebuilding their city and giving them a new home.

    • Charanor

well, for me it have to be Winterspring, and mostly becuse of the enviorment (And that i got my first character to lvl 55 so i could create my awesome DK Charanor!!!) And becouse of the great quest that both involve killing and chasing NPCs 🙂 tbh, i just love Winterspring.

For me it will always be Elwyn Forest, the fields near Jasperlode mine. Respawn rates are insanely fast and its a great way to practice using your new charecters skills out on innocent piggies. Changes to hogger in this area mean less chance of being suprised by the big old meanie that likes to eat lowbies for breakfast. Hogger will never be forgotten and great pleasure taken every time he gets smacked down.

My favorite zone since i played the cataclysm beta is Ruins of gilneas, the start zone for the Worgen race. The epic movie introduction at the start and just the awsome quests from the start until the end.

favorite zone have to be stonetalon mountains. doing the krom’gar quest chain just feels awesome as you rise through the ranks in his army, and in the end you “liberate” him from command. it all just makes the zone feel finished and without any dead ends.

I,v not been playing that long 5months or so, but i really like darkshore all along the coastline mainly because of the changes since cata, the thing i most like is the music as you get a real sence of sadness and change, the gameplay in wow in pukka and the music should also get alot more credit, well thats my thoughts.Oh yeah 1 more thing the sound of the murlocs love it 🙂

My favourite dungeon was always Maraudon, it had a really EPIC feel to it with the sprawling, labyrinthine pre-dungeon, the choice of which entrance to use (and therefore which bosses to fight) and unlike most pre-BC dungeons there was actually a few tactics needed (I had to stop many a stupid pug running in and getting his *** handed to him by the slimes in orange!). It was also one of the most picturesque dungeons out of the 1-60 ones (unsurprising since it had a whole patch to itself!), with the murky feel of the orange and purple sides giving an almost apprehensive feel to the place with all the demons, mutant plants and 4-foot long maggots waiting around every corner, to the more open feel of the fungal giant valley leading up to Celebras. Following that, the immeasurably huge waterfall at the end of the turtle sanctuary was a breathtaking sight the first time any of us ran the place, and then the winding, twisting rock paths leading to the later bosses (especially the giant rock elemental up top) left us with a genuine sense of vertigo, leading finally to the suspended rock highway to the garden of Princess Theradras, one of the hardest leveling dungeon bosses in the game! A challenging encounter indeed, with her giant shockwaves knocking players back, strong melee damage keeping tanks and healers on their toes and any male player catching sight of her having to fight some very natural impulses! (if you know what I mean…) Finally, not even the waters below were safe, as we soon found out after going for a little swim and meeting a gargantuan croc who we liked to call Cuddles. Oh the memories.

All in all, Maraudon was a fantastic instance, with vibrant, often breathtaking scenery, memorable bosses and a real challenge to offer (before the wave of player buffs turned everything to mush anyway 🙁 ), which led to some of the most memorable times in the whole of WoW for me.

My favorite since cataclysm is the stonetalon mountains because of the epic quest line for horde at least and the even mOre epic twist at the end of the quest chain

My favorite zone? Ghostland. It was the first zone I finished completely when I started playing wow. It leaves me beautiful memories of how proud I was when I could do it all by myself …

My favorite are would have to be Stranglethorn Vale. It is a great place for hunter with all the wild life and great for herbing. I am still quite new to the game but so far that would have to be my favorite place because I was able to level my skinning and leather work really fast. Also have the advantage of cooking and fishing leveling in the one area.

My favorite place is Un’Goro Crater zone. I love the jungle, with a lot of dinosaurs, gorilla… It is a colourful area. The story line was simple. I was using Dugi guide to get through this area, it was very comfortable. The quests was completed in one circle and i can also explorer whole area.

For me it has to be westfall, I know it is only lvl 10 to 15 but i love the way they have kept some of the old stlye quests in with the new. I think the story line here is great, i like how it show’s how easy it is to change a persons loyaty when the are desprate and in need. And woow who would of thought that when i helped kill Deadmines boss Vancleef that i left a little girl without a father how sad. No wander she turn out like she did lol.

I think Thousand Needles is a great place with all the changes. You can get a boat to travel all over the place and if you are herb gather this is the very best place to be. Also good for mining but it’s mostly underwater and the great thing is you get a diving bubble to breath underwater so you can stay down as long as you want and just pick plants and ore. The story line here is also fun and you can start a bar fight at the barge by throwing a bottle at a mob. Give it a try I think you will learn to love this place…

    • Worgana

I have allways loved Zul’Farak. The one and only place, where it’s easy to be boosted, and to boost others. The place is pretty and u can enter as lvl 36’ish. It’s a nice dungeon with some “events” on the “stairs and ofc there’s the allmighty Gahz’rilla! It’s easy to find ur way around, just follow ur nose. One boss is”hidden” behind some walls, but it makes u feel like indiana jones, goin on eksploring. A nice fast dungeon, with easy drops.

My favorite questing zone thats 1-60 was Silverpine forest because of the new questline thats over there. The quest chain with where you have to be the quest giver and give three people the quest was hilarious and I almost fell out of my chair when I ended up helping each one in their own quest. I also like the wagons that the ogres pull but I can never seem to find my way around using them. :))) Happy Gaming.

My favorite place is Un’Goro Crater because of al the dinos. If you are a hunter you can get almost any pet there and if you are Horde every so often you can work on getting the raptor mount there also. A higher lvl hunter can come back to get the elite dinos. And the skinning is unreal there all you have to do is follow people around and skin to your heart content.
