My favorite 1-60 zone would probably be the new Redridge mountains. Its one of the only 1-60 zones i been to since starting to work on leveling my Druid from 80-85, so i haven’t done much in the low level zones, but out of those i did Redrigde was by far the most entertaining.
I have really enjoyed all the levels, but I really like what they have done with STV and I think they attack on Booty Bay and those mission is a blast.
Thanks for guides I really enjoy them!!!
My favorite 1-60 zone is, and probably always will be, Duskwood. Duskwood was the first zone I spent a lot of time in leveling, and I never felt that I didn’t have a quest, or something, to do. When you are first starting out, and you see that big unmarked spot in the middle, you HAVE to go check it out! Imagine your surprise when you finally get there, and there is a mass amount of corpses and high level characters, trying to take down this giant dragon! That was when I first had an idea of the kinds of epic fights I one day might be part of.
The short of it:WINTERSPRING RULES
The full story: I could start with the best but think I’ll save it til last..Being able to use the tunnel was a great for me. There is wonderful fishing at a little pond toward the south. Even with higher level toons I love to play here. I’ve never found Lady Hederine in the gorge but looking for her is something I do each time I log on. I can’t think of anything that I don’t like about this region and the best are the cats like Rak-Shiri near Frostsaber Rock, all the vanishing and popping up.There was nothing boring about getting exalted with the Wintersaber trainer for me.
My faviourite zone is Hillsbrad Foothills cuss i love the forsaken and all the history about them… in wotlk was it Loch Mordan…
My favorite 1-60 zone is Silverpine Forest, after cataclysm, the storyline of the zone is fantastic, the leveling flow is great and there are plenty of flight points. The zone got an amazing, refreshing change, the redesigned quests make leveling fun, fast and entertaining.
I would have to say that there were several areas that I have fond memories on. Partly because I remember back in the day when I was questing on my hunter to fight various demons to create the Rhok’delar. They were Sithilus, Winterspring, Burning steppes, and Un’goro crater. While they are all separate it was lots of fun finding the demons with the help of my guild to help keep other mobs away from me so that I could kill the various demons. And then having a sense of accomplishment when I was able to kill them all.
Born in Northshire Abbey located in Northshire Valley in the foothills of Elwynn Forest a priest of Priestess Anetta and priestess of Azeroth, Yolanthe has been steeped in the teachings of healing and smiting magic. A devoted servant of both Priestess Anetta and Azeroth, she has studied hard her entire life, and has been rewarded by the gods of her provenance.
But paying allegiance to gods has not been without its consequences; having no clear path to follow, Yolanthe has a tendency to overanalyze situations and possible consequences, not sure whether to take the path. of aggressive strength or that of. defensive grace.
Yolanthe spent much of her life inside Northshire Abbey, paying homage to the old gods and studying the Path, which will lead her to enlightenment. She also spent a long stretch of her youth studying under High Priestess Laurena in Cathedral of Light, where she was exposed to even more religious and philosophical teachings that made it no easier for the young priest to find a focus in life. But the teachings of Laurenas wisdom made a deep impact on Yolanthe. When High Priestess Laurena sends a request for Yolanthe’s aid, the priest wastes no time gathering her friends and setting out for her favorite instance Scholomance!
My faviourite zone would have to be Eastern Plaguelands, mainly because I really enjoyed warcraft 3 and comming here seeing stratholme which I seen in warcraft 3 was a great experience for me to see it in a diffrent setting 🙂
Blackrock Mountain and the two zones it links (Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes) are by far the coolest areas in the classic game. The molten lava, burned ruins, red sky and ash thickened air all contribute to an atmosphere appropriate of dragon lore. The Dark Iron dwarves storyline (and their giant golems) in Searing Gorge set the tone perfectly for the higher level ***** dragonflight encountered in the Burning Steppes. Although dragons occasionally appeared in other lower level zones as elite mobs, seeing them roam around here on a regular basis was very satisfying indeed. Loved it.
My favorite leveling place would have to be Stranglehorn. So many fun times…
My all time favorite zone/dungeon would be the Deadmines. I don’t really know why I like it so much, but I frequently run lower levels through it several times a week. Just helping them out with gear and experience makes it fun. (also ressing them after the get over run by baddies.)
I think my favorite zone would have to be the goblin zone. I love the way the quests are fun and you get to ride around on that trike and when you hit people they fly and say a funny comment. I know it takes a long time to get to Kalimdor but I think it’s nice that you get to see a few different zones along the way. Plus the story of the goblin is neat too.
I would have to say that my favorite 1-60 zone would have to be Westfall. When I first started playing wow many years ago this was and is my favorite zone. I know there wasnt ever anything glamorous about the zone but it has a special meaning to me. I have always enjoyed questing over there and the such but since they have redid the zone/ quests it’s amazing . I love the deadmines and just the general feeling of the area.
i loved the plaguelands, especially when you could capture towers and ride around on the ghostly gryphons! it was a great place to farm cloth and gold (tyr’s hand) and the storyline that tied the two sides together was amazing. stratholme and scholomance are still two of my favorite old-school dungeons, and that’s saying a lot considering how much we ran those to the ground and i still never got tired of them!!
The new Dun Morogh is probably my favorite 1-60 zone, with the quest that now allows you to go to the Ironforge airport, the great music in the Gnomeregan area, and all of the beginning ore and herbs that can be found in abundance there. This was also where I started my very first character in WoW, many years ago.
The new upgrade has brought me back to Western Plaguelands just to quest with Zen’Kiki. These have to be the funniest most entertaining quests in the game that I have seen. Watching this druid turn into feral cat and fight this imaginary foe completely away from your fight is funny but what really gets me laughing is when he turns into a moonkin. OMG I get the giggles as his text shows up with “”Ow” and “Stop that” as he zaps himself. Having Zen”kiki around turns a boring “kill 20 plague animals” quite fun and enjoyable. I didn’t want it to end. The other quests in this area are goal driven, and getting into the game, feel I have been a great help to their cause. LOL I have brought most of my toons back to this area to run the new quests.
hello!
My all-time favorite wow zone was Stranglehorn, since in my server is the first stand when you confront Horde (I`m alliance :D) so it was the beggining of my pvp life, the variety of quests are really nice aswell.
But the most important reason for this zone to be my fave one is because while I was questing there I`ve got to know my actual bf <3 And he defended me countless times against mobs and horde guys xD It was a happy leveling time.
I have lots of favourite areas but if i had to pick one i would have to say kezan and the lost isle because the quest line was lots of fun and very entertaining, i laughed at nearly every “Idea” and enjoyed crusing in my hot rod, not to mention saving thrall! but lets face it, all areas in wow are cool and everyone has one special one where their best memories are!
My Favourite zone is westfall because playing as a human character it is the first proper zone you enter and is full of fun quests. It also has the deadmines and who doesnt like that
