I really love Westfall. Especially after the cata. Nice story.

I have always rolled with Alliance, my first ever character being a human warrior. I guess many of us Wowies rolled one at the very start, so I have a special affinity with the Eastern Kingdoms and the quests there. We have all seen the transitions put in place by Blizzard, from the Burning Crusade, to WOLK and now Cataclysm.

The whole game is an awesome, immersive experience beyond compare, and I get lost every-time I log in to this world.

I recently decided to roll a goblin, and have a look at the horde side, once again, and was completely hooked at the starting zone for this race. The story-line, the actual place (I still laugh at the town in a box), the spell mechanics, the whole package. Blizz have really upped their game on this one, something I didnt think possible.

Thanks for your efforts in putting together your guides Dugi….

I love Stranglethorn Vale. The cool Jungle feeling, remembering me on adventure movies, hunting mighty tigers etc. I admit I love this area after Cata more than before. Don’t know why, but to me it became even better.

It must be Eastern Plaugelands. And just not for the Billy-goat achievement;) Its almost a truly joy when after hours of qusting just realize – hey, i got a full caravan!
And the rocketride is, hrmm, well – FUN! 😉

Well my lvl 0-60 zone must be Tanaris. My friend told me about that zone and he loved it before Cataclsym. When my character got to the right i simply couldn’t chose a zone in Eastern Kingdoms so I decided to go to Kalimdor and do quests there for the first time. The quest there are simply amazing, enjoyable and fun. Now with Cataclysm as that was when I went there some of the new quests like controling the bug into the nest were amazing. Can’t either forget the beauty of Gadgzetzan were I did some really cool quests like bombarding the pirates. Overall this is my favourite zone and I recommend it to everyone and I think it’s 40-45 or something like that but yeah thanks for reading this!

My Favorite zone, well city is Org for one simple reason long time ago i found Ah in there:D and yes i got addicted to it 🙂 now you gonna ask why Ah, its very easy to answer just because of GOLD, then you got gold you can buy all toys you whish and it also help lvling coz you can buy all gear you want or you can just buy Tank to run you in dungeons for instant ques. So you got gold you own the world

The absolutely best zone for me after cataclysm is Eastern Plaguelands. The travels from tower to tower on board the wagon is the most funny part of it all, just reading or listening to all the comments from the two co charecter Gidwin and the other guy is so funny, and made me laugh. So Easter Plagelands is my bet.

      BLOODMYST ISLE

wow, that is really a nice area, it includes everything from easy killed mobs to almost impossible ones at the vector coil. Not to mention the celebration when you have finished the 60 or 65 quests there, when they applaude you 🙂

If you ask me it has almost everything, and i have become such a huge fan that the alts i make are almost always draneis.

I’m not as experienced with all the areas as most of the other posters, as I’ve only been playing for a short time and only on weekends, after I’ve done all the schoolwork my teaching demands. I will say, though, that it’s going to be tough for other areas to compete with Teldrassil, which possesses so much of the natural beauty of the Amazon and African rainforests…Childhood dreams of giant trees, complete with giant treehouses…Running through the forest with my very own big cat, just like Tarzan… Ahhh…Heaven on Earth! In truth, I hesitate to leave, but I know I shall, for even now, Dugi’s arrow is pointing me towards a new area. And I wonder what this Darkshore will be like.

My favorite updated zone would have to be Silverpine. Before cataclysm, I really disliked Silverpine and now after the update I love it as the new questing chain there is very fun and exciting! My other favorite zone on my Alliance character has to be Westfall, simply because of the quest chain with “Horatio Laine” which acts out a CSI:Miami episode which I thoroughly enjoyed!

For me it has to be stranglthorn, i loved the big game hunter quests, the original ZG, learning it, farming it and eventually getting to zerg it (still never got the mount though) and just the vastness and variety of the zone – looking forwards to ZG (HC) again in 4.1

My favourite zone just has to be Duskwood, I played through it as the vanilla zone and adored it. But I never quite understood the exact story line, it was clear infront of me. But I was younger in vanilla. Then I played it through on a random human hunter, it was visually stunning and had a story line that was much simpler to follow. I loved the changes and can’t wait to play through some other zones.

I used to play Alliance before turning Horde, but I have to confess that my favorite zone is Elwynn Forest. It might sound weird but I like all that Defias thing, also you got one.of ypur biggest encounters against……yeah you got it……HOGGER! LOL I remember spending a lot of time learning to play there and.completing tons of quests . Besides, I love the music on Elwynn too!

    • AnLeonis

My favorite zone is Slithus because there is a ton of stuff too do there from leveling to mat’s farming, to rep farming to the only raid I’ve never been into cause I seem to miss out on the trade chat invites ! But anyway I still love Slithus as it’s got almost everything packed into it ! mining , skining, ( Rep., Elemental, & PvP, Farming ) and the only thing missing is fishing.

I like WestFall as it was good for the Quests Befor and After Cata and you have lots of monsters you can kill for exp or supplys and it looks cool now after Cata and you can get your low level Toon up a couple of levels in this area.

    • Oædgoat

My favorite place to level is Stranglethorn Vale it is good place for skinning/mining/fishing/Herbalism and all the instancesnstances in Blackrock.

    • Brian Kristensen

I have to say that gilneas is my favorite zone.. i really love how it looks and the story line there

    • Barticvs

I have to say Stranglthorn Vale. Yes other areas are great as well, but Stranglthorn Vale stands out for me. Reasons why it stands out:
      1. the quests lines… it gives a nice story line and its challenging as well
      2. the area, the jungle just gives me the feeling of an adventurer like Indiana Jones
      3. the diversity of encounters: many different encounter types which makes it completely not boring to just start hunting around
      4. Of course the fishing possibilities.
      5. Booty bay: it gives a bit of a pirate feeling… nicely done.

All in all all ingredients are in place for a good time in Stranglthorn Vale, even when being a higher level….
