Searing Gorge
What could be better than a huge Ogre that does not like killing?
Maybe him sitting on the little dwarfs and putting them to sleep?
Or him jumping on the spiders so he can be a spider rider?
Or last but not least the congo line dancing with the dwarf’s:)
Never fails to bring on a smile watching Lunk at work:)
Having 7 level 85’s, I have done it all. Yes I mean all when I say it.
BADLANDS is my favorite. It is trully a unique, fun to play, have a good laugh zone. With a little “punch deathwing in the face” action. Even the more out dated and boring quests there seem to be great, the way it is.
WARNING: The dragons bite!
Rogues **** me off 🙂
Stranglethorn Vale, because it is the zone where you can PvP while leveling. In addition, the quests are amazing that you wouldn’t want to leave the area!
for me its got to be the Scarlet Monastery because it has so many different levels in it and they even have the Hallow’s End event in there.
Definitly Durotar. Still the best ^^
I really enjoyed the changes to Thousand Needles. I used to like to go there and grind out a level or two. The new Fizzle and Pozzik’s speedbarge is so much more interesting and fun. I really love the fact that we get a boat, and scuba gear. I am thinking of starting a new character, just to see what other changes they have implemented.
I love old Barrens. When there was no Northern and Southern Barrens. Bacause I spent there a lot of time back in the days leveling my main. Bacause I didn’t have Dugi’s Leveling Guide and I took a lot of time to do al qeusts in this amazing and huge zone.
I raised 20+ characters of each faction, race and class using Dugi’s Guide ever since it was released. My favorite zones have always been the starting zones for each race, they are uniquely their own. With cata it made it like a whole new game for me and the changes to those zones has been great fun. Dugi has been in the upper left corner of my screen every step of the way!!!
Feralas!
when i see it, i feel a sense of tranquillity
maybe only cause i’m a scout, but i love travel around this zone, from “the twin colossals” to “dire maul”, i spent many days there alone with the nature to admire this amazing little world
My favorite zone is The Hinterlands because who doesn’t like a place where you get to kill both dwarves and gryphons :p Also I spent alot of time there on my mage leveling my fishing at The Quel’Danil Lodge.
Also as I’m Horde there is a lot of XP to be gained from running quests at Jintha’Alor. (Tip: For people who are not interested in fighting their way through all the levels there is a quick way to skip the bottom tiers; The hills to the east of the entrance (near the graveyard) allow easy access to a piece of wall about halfway up :D)
You also (back in the day) used to have to go back there again to get the Mallet of Zul’Farrak, the item with which you previously banged a gong to summon Gahz’rilla in Zul’Farrak. (Not needed any more 🙁 )
For those interested in WoW Lore, you may be interested to know, in the northern part of the region is the ancient tree, Seradane, where the agents of the Green dragonflight have been corrupted. A massive portal on the side of the tree connects the servants of the Aspect Ysera to her own realm, the Emerald Dream. (The Emerald Dream is basically a copy of how the world would have been, if intelligent beings had not altered its surface)
This is a very interesting place to level with some very cool quests and nice scenery and some scary wildlife, what more could you ask for. Also robot chicken ****** quest, anyone?
Dungeon Gnomerang. Because is the first Dungeon^^
there are a lot of zones i love in wow but my favorite is azuralmist island. this is mainly referes to the first 1-5 leveling section. i love the feeling of being lost in the strange world feeling. the land scape is something i love to look at too. the quest that let you quest for the fulbog is a really nice touch becasue you do these quest right after you first quest from the human landing. you get the felling that you really are new but that as a race you are intuned to nature to. it is a great intoduction to my favorite wow race and has a large part in the reason it is my favorite race.

Merci BliBli
Merci Dugi
I really like the Barrens. The new cataclysm changes are really awesome! I really like the new kinds of quests. Barrens used to be such a long grind, where you had to go from one place to another, but the quests were almost identical; they all wanted you to grind this kind of mob, then this other kind and so on.
Now i actually enjoy the Barrens. I especially like the quest where you sit on the back of a kodo and have to shoot those following you.
Thanks for the changes blizz – I really like them! ^^
I’m really enjoying the new look Thousand Needles with access to your own tugboat. Just hit this on my goblin rogue and its so much fun now. A lot more variety in the questing and types of quests made this really appealing.
Westfall, firstly because of the cool tornados that throw you up and then there’s the funniest and most creative questline that makes you fell like Sherlock Holmes the detective guy.
Un Goro is my choice <3
i’m going to chose old stv as this had to be the best area when you where leveling and for the hunting quests as i did love doing thouhs
It has got to be Ungoro Crater for me way back when WoW was new. Just riding down the long ramp from Tanaris you felt like it was gonna be something different and exciting. All those dinosaurs and the elite devilsaurs roaming around scaring the **** out of you! The volcano. Ungoro dirt to collect. Crystals to collect. Bloodpetal sprouts to collect. Plus all those collecting quests too. More bag space please! You could easy ding a couple of levels just killing stuff. Also, don’t forget there was originally no flightpath and you had to ride back to Gadgetzan or carry on to Silithus to fly anywhere. WoW at its hardest and best for me!
Hinterlands! I think the scenery is great and the fact it has gryphons wandering around that you feed is kinda cool.
