getting tired of this happening .. having to reinstall daily to fix

deleted the directory for dugi and reinstalled using manual installl still same errors instantly when i login to a character guess its time to cancel subscription since I havent been able to use it since the last update

There error show that you haven’t updated at all and still using the old files.

Make sure you have updated correctly. You might have multiple copies of WoW and updating the incorrect folder.

1. Load the installer available here https://www.dugiguides.com/dgmembers/ and click on the settings button.

2. then click on the auto detect path button and click ok.

3. if that doesn’t work then you need to manually correct the path.

4. You can find the install path by loading your Battle net launcher and click on the Bnet icon on the top left corner

Select Settings

5. then cick Game Install/Update

6. You will find the install path under Folder Used for Gameplay

eg, so if your path is C:Program Files (x86)World of Warcraft_retail_

then the paths should be

Retail Install Path: C:Program Files (x86)World of Warcraft_retail_

Classic Install Path: C:Program Files (x86)World of Warcraft_classic_

Launcher Path: C:Program Files (x86)World of WarcraftWorld of Warcraft Launcher.exe

The error shows that you have older version still installed. Can you post a screenshot of the addon version in the menu to confirm you have the latest version.

otherwise try this

1. Delete DugisGuideViewerZ folder in your WoWInterfaceAddOns folder
2. Enter the game and confirm that Dugi is 100% removed from the game.
3. Reinstall

Exact same problem, I see this as soon as I login. steps to try and fix

Game installed in C:Program Files (x86)World of Warcraft_retail_

1) Exit game

2) Download DugiGuides_Retail_8.911.zip

3) Delete WTSAccountACCOUNTNAMESavedVariablesDugisGuideViewerZ.lua

4) Delete WTSAccountACCOUNTNAMERealmCharacterSavedVariablesDugisGuideViewerZ.lua

5) Extract DugiGuides_Retail_8.911.zip to InterfaceAddOns

6) Launch WoW and see error

everytime i login to wow i have to run a repair on dugi. and reinstall, it then works for a short time but eventually it starts erroring out again

Step taken

1) Downloaded latest version DugiGuides_Retail_8.921.zip

2) Deleted DugisGuideViewerZ from AddOns directory

3) Launch WoW and take screenshot showing Dugi not installed

4) Close Wow

5) Unzip latest version to AddOns directory

6) Launch WoW and take screenshot showing Dugi Guide 8.9.21 installed as well as error message and Dugi Guide loading icon at 1% (never moves past 1%)

Is your character in combat when you log in ?

Can you test loading with only Dugi enabled

Also try testing with a brand new character
