After combat a spinning wheel appears and won’t go away until reload. Then the next combat triggers it again. This happens in multiple zones, instances, and scenarios. Disabling addon for now.

    What version are you using?
Have you tried with just DugiGuides enabled? no other addons enabled except DugiGuides.
I can’t seem to replicate this issue with version 8.953.

using the version that’s on curse, I re installed it. its when it wants to load the arrows when they are turned off that the wheel spins. i want them and the map turned off, but the addon keeps trying to load them

Is this the one Dugi Questing Essential, I hope you realize that it’s demo only.
I tried that just now, works for me, very basic but it works.

If you aren’t using it already use this Curse Forge, it’s in beta and requires Overwolf to run.
In that app, in “My Addons” find Dugi Questing Essential and right click it and click Delete Settings (Saved Variables) and then right click Dugi Questing Essential and click Delete Addon.
Under “Get More Addons” search for Dugi Questing Essential and reinstall it.

Let me know how that goes.

I sort of have the same issue. Ever since updating to 8.953 I can’t load dugi guides. I updated using the Dugi 1.5.0. installer. I have the spinning wheel but next to it is the msg “loading Dugi Guides 3%..” and it just stalls with the wheel just spinning endlessly.  I first did /dugi fix and reloadui that gets rid of the message and wheel but then I click on the guide and I get a lua error message
“interfaceAddOnsDugisGuideViewerZLuaUtils.lua:31:attempt to index local ‘pString’ (a nil value)”
I’ve deleted the addon and reinstalled it multiple times using the Dugi installer. I also deleted the DugisGuideViewerZ.lua in the character folder and then did a fresh install of the guide nothing is working.

@sarth Have you disabled all other addons except DugiGuides?

When you uninstall the addon, use the DugiGuides Installer.
    Open the DugiGudies Installer.
    Click on Settings.
Click on RepairIt will prompt you with another window that it was successful, click OK.
Verify your DugiGuides website Username (not email) and Password in their appropriate fields.
    Click Okay.
    Exit the DugiGuides Installer.
Verify that all files that is related to DugiGuides have been removed, there could be some files that might be read only. If some remain, delete them and empty the Trash Bin / Recycle Bin.
    Open the DugiGuides Installer.
Click Reinstall if the DugiGuides Installer doesn’t automatically start installing.

Doing the above removes the addon and savedvariables from all characters, it saves having to do it manually.

    I hope that helps 🙂

The update fixed the issue I was having with the guide not working, Thanks.
But when switching to use tomtom instead of the dugi arrow it still causes the dugi arrow to turn into the loading wheel that just keeps spinning instead of disappearing/hiding like it used to.

this is the first time that TomTom was mentioned, that helps a lot :) we’ll fix it up

Actually Pakkas mentioned it except they were turning the arrows off completely.

I meant with the use of the 3rd party TomTom addon,

Can confirm. When using TomTom and disabling the Dugi arrow, it will show the spinning wheel. Enabling and disabling Dugi arrow will temporarily hide the wheel. When the guide updates between steps, it will bring the spinning wheel back.
