Take a look in Leveling > Dragonflight > Return to the Reach
I have also notified Dugi regarding a double up inside Achievements > Dragonflight > Exploration
The intended guides are as follows, 1. Explore The Forbidden Reach 2. Forbidden Reach Glyph Hunter.

-Update- I have notified Dugi that the Floating Item Button in 10.0.7 Retail patch is still not working, despite the fact that it was working in 10.0.7 PTR.
For now, I suggest to use an addon called ExtraQuestButton.

        1. Click the link and install the addon.
        2. In-game, Hit ESC, click Edit Mode, move the ExtraQuestButton to where you would like it.
        3. To remove confusion, type /dugi config > Settings.
        4. Uncheck Floating Item Button.

Once Dugi has found and squashed the bug, I am sure it will be noted in the update notes.
I would like to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and hope the temporary solution will suffice until this issue is resolved.

Looks like the Repair and Re-install setting steps  and the Curse App (Actually Chocolate Bar Panel) Delete Settings (Saved Variables) did the trick.
          Thanks

I am glad that it now works, yeah, in a sense they both are the same.
I was thrown off with the thread you linked.

Hi, I see that you are having difficulties switching guides, what are you doing to achieve this? How do you normally switch the guides?
I say that because with Titan Panel and Dugi installed and running I am able to switch guides.

I can confirm the issues with the professions, that’s what I was talking to Dugi about, so that’s what you can see in this video. Update to the new version 3.029, it should fix the professions error. However, the Titan Panel + Dugi Guides is working.

I can also confirm that if you change guides fast one after the other with in 2 seconds it can cause the SetNormalTexture(asset) .lua taint error. This is caused because the addon is working really hard loading the guide you chose, npc localization, quest localization .. list goes on. If you give the addon time to load, say 10-20 seconds and then change the guide .lua errors will be minimal and it won’t impact performance on your computer in the process.

Can you please ensure that the guides were removed properly by using the Dugi Installer > Settings > Repair button Okay x3
            Click Okay then click Reinstall.
If you did this can you please do it again.
Use Curse app and right click on the Titan Panel Classic and click Delete Settings (Saved Variables) then relaunch WOW.

Any other information you can provide will be helpful.

Can you please wait until March 21 and then try the item button again.

Please take a look at the last video I posted, that proves it does work to an extent.

That’s okay, I fixed your code block 😉
Yeah you posted while I was typing out my reply. All is good Dugi is looking at this as we type 😁

👍 that’s great, can you please post the traceback? I think it would be best to investigate that error and minimize the error output as much as possible.

I am really glad that the recent solution has made a better out come for you, thanks for doing your best to let us know of this issue.

@tholotoo What have you done so far? have you tried typing /dugi fix in the chat window and then pressing Yes.

Thank you for doing fixing the error’s, that was kind of you to do so, When I reinstalled it, it came up saying that the installation path was not found, please check your settings, I told the guide where the install path was, it won’t find it no matter how many times I have told it where it was.

Can you please click on Settings and then take a screen shot.
You can use numerous applications to take screenshots.

                          1. You can press the PrtSc, PrtScn, or PrntScrn buttons on the keyboard and then use Paint from Microsoft.
                          2. You can use Snipping Tool from Microsoft, press a configurable key combo to take a screenshot and will be presented with a selecting tool, mark the area and it will take a screenshot in that selected area.
                          3. You can use ShareX, a free open source program used on multiple platforms Windows, Linux etc. The key combinations are configurable, default Ctrl + PrtSc, PrtScn, or PrntScrn then select area to take, very much like the Snipping Tool, but armed with a lot more.

When replying to this thread, click on  and then click on Choose Files button and browse to the screenshot file, click Open button.

hmm I thought this was fixed a long time ago. What have you tried so far?
Did you try doing /dugi fix in-game?
After reloading from ‘/dugi fix’, did you try right-clicking dugi frame, the one with Quests category and the guide underneath, click on Reset button and then Reload button.
You may need to manually tick steps to reach your current step.

Can you please retry the quest item button, the one the addon provides you that usually appears underneath the Npc viewer frames, or sometimes floating on screen, and looks like the one you illustrated in your screenshot as “This does not work”.

This would likely be the culprit:

                            Blizzard said:

Patch 6.0.2 2014-10-14: Most quest items no longer take up space in the inventory and can be accessed through the Quest Tracker.

Some items that are not in your bags can still be accessed and some cannot, this is why I would like to see if this item The Return of Baron Geddon is physically in your bags.

This is not the specific quest, nor is it live, I was in the middle of testing something in PTR 10.0.7 Legion content using a Dracthyr. The addon version is 9.0185.
                            Here’s a short video 2023-03-14_02-05-49.mkv

I still would like to have more information as requested above.

I have decided to use a character that hasn’t done these cataclysm quests. nearly all characters have done them, so this is harder for me to not use Evoker.
Anyway, I have more recordings of quests that has quest items.
                            Video One:

This one is with a quest item that can be interacted with by clicking the target or clicking the quest item in the objective frames or clicking the Quest Item Button or using the Keybindings for the DugiGuides Floating Item Button.

                            Video Two:

This one you just fly and land to the area and then click or use keybind for the Item Button.
                            2023-03-14_18-52-46.mkv

                            Video Three:

This one is the one you posted, at the end there I can confirm that the item does go in bags and the tag used is correct with the item id seen in the tooltip listed as ItemID.

I can’t replicate this issue and can you please just confirm what troubleshooting steps you have done or try my suggestion to use /dugi fix. Yes, that command will reset all settings, saved variables will also reset.
If this persists after that command was done, can you please try recording a small video, as I have done.
To achieve this, you can use your video card software or OBS Studio any of these there’s YouTube videos that help with configuring and using them as well.
If you need any assistance to do this, please, do not hesitate to ask, I’ll do my best to help.
Don’t really need any screenshots, you did a pretty good job showing the issue.

I have had a chance to test in live version of Retail 10.0.5 and I can confirm that the item button does not work. Discussing this with Dugi, he can’t get the item button to work in retail 10.0.5 either.
Knowing that it is functioning well in 10.0.7 and 10.1.0 ptr’s, looking at the posted videos above, it would be best to wait for Blizzard to release 10.0.7 on March 21, there is a bug in 10.0.5 which is preventing the item button from working on some quests, we are sorry for the inconvenience.

                            -Edit-
I have also noticed that some quests the Item button does not work and others it does.

Can everyone that’s getting this error please do the following:

                              • List out in great detail and explain what it is you do in game to get this error.
                              • List out exactly what Addons are using, even if they are “disabled”
                              • List out in great detail how DugiGuides was uninstalled and reinstalled.

I am sorry, I have tried to replicate this for 10 minutes now with no .lua errors.
I have uninstalled and installed using the Dugi installer. I even uninstalled and installed manually.
The only time I get an .lua error is by running a bad coded script

                              /script SetMapToCurrentZone() local x,y=GetPlayerMapPosition(“player”) DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME: AddMessage(format(“%s, %s: %.1f, %.1f”,GetZoneText(),GetSubZoneText(),x*100,y*100))

As a result of that I get a red bag icon with sound “Fatality!”

Other tests that was done here was keep swapping guides using 2 guide frames  then increasing them slowly up to max all with no .lua errors.

Screenshots and video footage of this can also help.
