Hi vis1946,
To enable / disable the Battle Pet tracking feature it’s controlled by the blizzard’s Track Pets mini map option. See attached image “Wow_9DTmyWGzeA.png”
Checked = Enabled
Un-checked = DisabledYou can control what you see by checking / un-checking options within Dugi Guides Tracked Pets which appears under the blizzard mini map frame options.
You would want to un-check the Collected if you don’t want the battle pet to appear if you’ve already obtained that pet. See attached image “image_2022-08-10_154414816.png”You can also control what kind of pets to show by checking or un-checking Battle Pet Race.
It’s looking like a corrupt file in your Saved Variables, though reinstall was done, that won’t resolve this issue.
Ensure that World of Warcraft and battle.net is not running.
Open Dugi Installer, click Settings and then click Repair. That will completely uninstall all Dugi Guides files and reset’s Dugi Guides saved variables. Click on Okay button and then Okay button once again, then click Reinstall if it doesn’t do it automatically.Ensure that World of Warcraft Classic is not running, also, ensure that Battle.net is not running as well.
Open your Dugi Guides installer, click on the Settings button and ensure that your Dugi Guides website username and password is correctly entered and then click on the Okay button.
The Dugi Installer will do another scan, as it is doing that, ensure that you see Welcome, wubbitss
If it doesn’t already start downloading, click on reinstall button.
Run the game and check to see if it’s fixed the issue, if it hasn’t, please report back and we shall try something else.We do have Covenent Guides and Covenent Daily Guides under Leveling category.
Ensure that the game is not running and then jump in to the dugi installer and make sure that your username and password is entered correctly, click okay and then click reinstall.
You can use the Auto World Quest for them, there’s only 3 (which rotates daily:- 2 one end and 1 on the other, or all 3 one end and none on the other) it was not worth the time to make a guide for them. If they were like Naz’jatar then there would be a cause to make a guide.
To find the Auto World Quest guide:- Leveling » World Quests » Auto World Quest & Daily Guide
Fire up the Guide, accept the daily quests and then a way you go it should auto detect them and point you in the right direction. Just remember to clear the guide once finished.I ask that question because so far we are unable to replicate it, screenshots can help, however, we would like to have at least a short video to see what’s happening, it would give us more clues as to what’s causing it.
LOL nice!
onibaba said:All upto date and it happens mostly on retail and classic era not tried tbcCan you please fulfill the second question.
I acknowledge that “inaccurate” steps are annoying and time wasting in one’s questing session, this is not our intent, however, Blizzard always makes last minute changes before releasing patches or major changes at a later date (example “Retail, Pandaria, Krasarang Wilds”). You’d be surprised how often this happens. There’s not enough fingers to count with while counting how many times this has happened in the passed through out all flavors of WOW.Thank you, I’ll forward the issues to get investigated. However, this could be needing to meet some prerequisites to start that quest line, a typical classic thing, but there was little information to go by as well.jerrdale said:There are far too many other instances like these that are too numerous to list here. Has Dugi just stopped keeping these things in order? Perhaps you could revisit all the quest lines and waypoints and make sure they are accurate. I am a paid member and would expect as much.Thank you!He does care, and will always care, just as much as his staff that he has working for him cares, especially the one answering your post now also cares.Do you actually know how many quest lines there are in WOW Retail or Classic Era or Classic TBC? Not like it’s an excuse more so to further extend my point that it’s a lot to cover with all current events, one current beta and another one approaching on the horizon. We care for our customers and are working extensively hard to get them available for when they are due. We are also doing everything we can to get current content updated when we notice them or get told of these changes.Further to my point, in the passed I used to report to Dugi to let him know of these inconsistencies, until my responsibilities had changed. I noted down on a piece of paper/pad or digital notepad (file) on the desktop and then opened a constructive ticket to let Dugi and his staff know of my findings.Answer the following form:1. What World of Warcraft client is this related to? (WoW Retail, WoW Classic Era, WoW Classic TBC) =2. What is the guide in question? (Guide name, e.g., Eternity’s End) =3. What is the faction/s? (e.g., Horde or Alliance or Both) =4. What is the Quest name? (with it’s ID if known) =5. What’s the problem? “in great detail”. =*You can refer to wowhead.com to help explain.*You can use tomtom addon to provide coordinates etc.,*Screenshots and short videos can also be used to help show the problem as well. Can you please provide the following:1. What Wow client are you using?a. Wow Retail.b. Wow Classic Era.c. Wow Classic TBC.2. Can you please provide a screenshot or short video of this happening?I am asking all of the above because I would like to find what’s causing this so I can pass the fix on to Dugi.Hmm it doesn’t happen to me, this may be an extension issue/conflict.
I suggest to open the browser in it’s “Safe Mode” to see if it’s a extension issueFirefox:
- Click the menu button , click Help, select Troubleshoot Mode… and click Restart in the Restart Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode? dialog.
- When the Open Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode? window appears, click the Open button.
Clicking the Refresh Firefox button will restore Firefox to it’s default state while saving your essential data.Chrome:
- Launch Chrome and hit the on the upper-right corner.
- Click on the option: New Incognito Window (CTRL + Shift + N).
Head to Dugi Guides Members area and retry downloading.
Microsoft Edge is based on Chrome, since I don’t use this browser I am not familiar with it, may need to google search for that browser.
If you still can’t download, please try disabling your antivirus software and then retry download.
