May I please get the guide name that has this error?
You are welcome, may I suggest to use BtWquests & BtWquests: Shadowlands
- https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/btw-quests
- https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/btw-quests-shadowlands
These will help out with the progression of each chapter and presents each quest in a tree form etc. It also provides prerequisites which is needed, all in-game, no alt tabbing or switching from one monitor etc.I find this addon easier to use and better laid out compared to questcompletist. I also believe BtWquests is also updated more frequently as well.If you need any help with these addons, or quests in general, anyone is welcome to add me to Discord Ozzi#9217 or Battle.net Ozzi#11426 just let me know it’s you, I don’t accept invites with no notification as to who it is.Up on reading the comments further in wowhead for this quest, it’s stated by MarcusMaximi that you need to meet the following criteria:- Reached level 60
- Selected a Covenant
- Finished all the Covenant Campaign’s (9/9)
I hope this helps.April 30, 2022 at 11:44 pm in reply to: Kill mephistroth the final boss of the cathedral of light #170352Can you please provide the guide so that this can be found and then corrected, there’s more than one Legion dungeon, or, at least I assume it’s Legion dungeons. See, this is exactly what I mean.beneluxboy said:I’ve been following the Suramar guide. I’m at 92% complete, and we’ve invaded Suramar City. However, Archmage Khadgar in Astravar Harbor does not have a quest named “Fighting on All Fronts” for me, despite that being the next thing in the guide. I see in the quest guide that completion of that quest would be completing five missions from the Order Hall, which I’ve already done. However, that quest is not currently listed in Wowhead, and WoW did not prompt me to accept or complete it.Hi beneluxboy, I am sorry to hear that you’ve hit a snag in your questing, however, you are right, it was a quest to complete 5 missions in your order hall, however, upon finding the quest in wowhead it displays “This quest is no longer available within the game.” which explains why you were not able to find it. I’ll pass this on to Dugi so that the guide gets updated with the above quest change. For now, the easiest answer to your issue is to skip the Fighting on All Fronts quest. Right-click a step in the mainframe, click Current Guide, double click Fighting on All Fronts to tick the step, and then double click again to put an x on all related steps, now simply proceed with the guide. Good luck with the Good Suramaritan achievement.Thank you for reporting this, I have found the issue and fixed it, I’ll submit this to Dugi.
Hello,What World of Warcraft client is this? Retail, Classic, Classic TBCWhat guide is this for? When you say quests don’t work, what do you mean by that?I’m sorry, there’s not much information here.jgwallace3 said:I already use the ‘PetTracker’ addon to display pet icons on the zone map. I’d like an option to completely disable Dugi’s module. There is, It’s under the Mini Map, right click the Mini Map, deselect Track Pets.
Alternatively, you’d have to edit ExtraExtendedTrackingPoints.lua but that will get overwritten every time there’s an update, however, if you still have previous updates, like say 8.998 you can replace ExtendedTrackingPoints.lua and ExtraExtendedTrackingPoints.lua. Other than that, there’s not much that can be done.
Here’s the files from version 8.998, simply extract them and replace them in World of WarcraftInterfaceAddonsDugisGuideViewerZ and then choose yes, or yes to all to overwrite. These files will rewind the previous additions and removes all the battle pets, you may lose out on a few extra rares in the process. All of this is up to you, however, there’s no other way to turn them off other than using Uncheck Track Pets from the Mini Map.axhill said:Just bought the $30 Shadowsland Update expansion. I get an e-mail with a link in a green bar “Download or Access Digital Product”.When I click on it, I am redirected to a page on Dugi’s website “Thank you for Signing up”.But it is not clear where the purchased add-on is and it is not automatically placed in my Downloads folder…Simple question (with probably a simple answer): how do I get this Shadowsland add-on?Hi axhill, and thanks for your recent purchase. You will need to run the Dugi Installer, ensure that it’s logged in, you should get Welcome, axhill! and below would be your purchased guides. At this point, click on the Reinstall button, this will overwrite your existing guides and download/install a fresh copy of your guides including the recent purchase.
In-game you should see the Shadowlands guides under Leveling. If this is not the case, you are welcome to post back and we can help troubleshoot.Okay, if the above doesn’t work, let’s fixate on one thing at a time, In the battle.net app click on the gear cog next to the Install/Play/Updating button and select the Scan and Repair option.
Allow it to scan, it will scan the whole installation and attempt to repair any corrupt file/s and re-download them if necessary. If that doesn’t work; close off Battle.net entirely so that it’s not running in the background. Delete the Cache folder within World of Warcraft_retail_, this will cause Battle.net app to update, once it finishes try to play the game.
Next, we will look at DugiGuides Installer, load up the installer and click on Settings. Next, click on the Repair button.
Warning: this will remove all settings and completely resets the addon to its default settings across all characters. If the suggestions don’t work for the Battle.net app then you might have to create a ticket with Blizzard.
Click the Battle.net Menu logo, top left corner of the battle.net app, click My Account, Click Support top right of the web browser window that opens, click on the Technical option, click the Contact Support, type the issue you’re experiencing with Battle.net where it keeps updating whenever you update/install addons etc.Have you tried to click Auto Detect Paths button? If so, what happens?I used to have issues with the bnet launcher in the past, my experience was a corrupt drive / folder permissions. I suggest to run Error check on the drive that contains addon + wow installation, and ensure that bnet app is completely closed and not running, and the same with the dugi installer. When they are not running right click on the drive/s and select Properties, then click the Tools tab and click Check button under Error Checking.Click Scan drive, and allow it to scan the drive, if it found errors allow it to attempt to repair them, else, click the close button. While the game updates in the battle.net app, does it eventually get to 100% to be able to play? This does not sound normal, especially when you say that if the addon was updated bnet updates, this also might be a coincidence. Nevertheless, can you please provide a screen shot of the issues you are experiencing so that we have a better idea what the issue is and know where to start etc.I have just tried this on my friends iMac.- Ensure that the Dugi Installer is not running.
- Download the DugiGuides_Retail_8.9992.zip from the Members page.
- Extract the .zip file to: /Applications/World of Wacraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/
- Allow files to be overwritten.
- Run the game to verify that it’s there.
Yes, the DugisGuideViewerZ.toc file needs to be edited from 8.9991 to 8.9992.
It should look like this when edited, save and then run game to verify.(You may need to use Notepad++ or something similar, so you can clear the read only by right clicking the Document Folder with in Notepad++, doing this will save heart ache in File Explorer. See Pic.)## Title: DugiGuidesViewer |cffffffff8.9992|r

I’m sorry iMac users, there’s no manual download, there should be, perhaps Dugi can look at that as well as fixing the issue with the installers.I know this will be very annoying having to do this manually, for now, manual is the only way that will work until Dugi fixes this, please have some patience. While doing this manually, please ensure that the Dugi Installer is not running, download and extract the .zip file to your AddOns folder, instructions are in the Members area. Until Dugi fixes the issue found in the installer refrain from using it until it is fixed. Dugi will announce when he fixed it.
