What game client are you using? Retail, Classic, Wrath Classic?
Can you please try with just Dugi Questing Essentials only and all other addons disabled. We will be working on this, however, eta is unknown
Please update to 1.64 to fix this issue.
Once in-game, type /dugi config then click on the gear cog. It should be safe to re-enable Show Objective Bulbs, you should also notice that the Minimize Map Button is completely removed.I looked at this guide extensivley, the only steps that should be manually ticked are Travel to and Accept Quest because they are not tied to any quest with the use of |QID| tag, reason for that is because the quests in this guide are daily.
There’s literally no explanation for why, you would need to manually check Completed quest steps. It is a good idea to disable all other addons except dugiguides and see if the issue persists and make a new thread for this issue too.
Another one would be to check the DugisGuideViewerZ.toc and ensure that Record.lua has a # infront of it, should appear like this #Record.lua
If you use Notepad++ it should be line number 156, in mine I had to edit the file and add the said # tag. This should be commented out by default, Dugi must of have forgot to disable it before sending his changes to github, it’s easy to do, I’ve done it a lot myself.
The # tag is used for comments and commenting out files so that World of Warcraft will skip them as it loads the addons that are enabled.Dugi told me that he answered your ticket, I hope it’s what you were expecting.
There’s not much info here for me to try to help you.
- What is the Guide you are using?
War Campaign? Zunladar? - What’s the quest name?
Have you tried to search the quest name in google and click the wowhead.com result? there should be a tab called Comments, it’s recommended to read each comment to see if someone else has experienced what you are experiencing and what they did to remedy the issue.
If I had the above info that’s exactly what I would be looking for. However, this looks like The Zanchuli Council quest, I remember this because a friend of mine had a similar issue with this quest, I am mostly Alliance, so I never experienced this myself.
If you came here post BfA and don’t see Yazma with the start of this questline (which, among other benefits, lets you choose a Loa to worship within Zuldazar), then head into the Great Seal Room and check if there’s any quest on the Scouting map near her first, click on it and choose Zul’Dazar, then head back to the Throne room and Yazma will have this one for you. Please try this if it is indeed The Zanchuli Council quest that you are having difficulty with.
otteje said:Greetings,I am using Version 1.63 with WoW Classic Era and when I move the Quest Tracker Frame and lock the Position I always get an Error Message when logging into the Char.
As soon as I reset the Position to the default this Message does not pop up anymore.

To fix this for now, the options to uncheck are Minimize Map Button and Show Quest Objective Bulbs.
/dugi config, click the gear cog
Maps > un-check Show Objective Bulbs
Maps > un-check Minimize Map ButtonHopefully this should reduce the .lua error you are getting. Dugi should announce the next Classic Era guide update soon.
I have told Dugi, so he might answer your ticket a bit sooner.
Just like Blizzard, tickets get very busy and will incur longer wait times than usual, just need a bit of patience. Can you please answer the following:
- What version of the guides are you using?
- What WoW client are you using – Retail, Classic Era, Wrath Classic.
- Have you disabled all addons except DugiGuides?
Can you please try running the Dugi Installer from here and then click Settings, click Repair, click Okay three times. Finally click Okay then click Reinstall button.
Please post back with the answers and result.
If the issue stops after disabling all addons except dugiguides then it would be interference from another addon. The ‘error’ you provided is called a taint and world of warcraft blames random addons, though it does disclose that DugiGuideViewerZ is the ‘culprit’ but it would actually be another addon / macro / script that is the real cause. That’s why we ask to disable all addons except dugiguides.
Hi, I am sorry to hear that you aren’t getting some content, have you made a ticket here?
The ticket may not be immediate, however your issue should get resolved. The first screenshot is not Dugi Guides. This looks more like a World Quest addon, I can’t really name it because there is more than one addon that specializes in World Quests. I use Angrier World Quests myself. The second screenshot is Dugi Guides, if you click the binoculars on the mini map and then un-tick Track Pets, that should remove the pets from the maps. This can be ticked if you want to track the pets when you do pet battles. How did you go? Did you get it working?
I am glad you figured it out and it’s my pleasure. I wish you all the best with your profession leveling ๐๐
Do you mean for the classic profession level progress bar?For the full window, see Wow_CqWTJFEMt5.png file, it will be Dragon Isles. Do the following to change:- Go to Professions (k)
- Click the Profession
- Click Filter
- Click the profession type you want, i.e Classic
That will show the current profession level but it is not permanent, the filter will reset when you/reload
/ exit game / log out / log back in. It will reset to the highest expac profession learned, for me it will be Dragon Isles. After logging on to a level 24 character and learning professions esp classic, any addons or weak auras that display professions level bars will show the highest expac profession, so, if you learned Classic <name of profession> and then learned Outland <name of profession>, Outland will now show in the bar. This is regardless if you learned 300/300 or 75/75 of the previous one.In Discord, click Direct Messages, then click Add Friend, green button. Type Ozzi, then click Send Friend Request, but I have sent a friend request, you should see a 1 near Pending button, click that and then approve my request. ๐๐
