Dugi and his staff work really hard during beta access getting as much as they can before the release date. The day the Shadowlands is released is when the guides will be available.Dugi and his staff will continue with their hard work adding more content and fixing any errors that may arise after that. This is the same with any expansion / change.Beta access will start to roll out next week approx 20/07/2020That error “Exception from HRESULT: 0x80072EE4” is a permission issue, I know this since beta testing so many different windows products, they mostly appeared in Windows RT within Windows Group Policy.I recommend to do a system restore to a date this did not occur (if known) or repair windows. If that fails you can try the following:Open Command Prompt as administrator. For a file use:icacls "full path to your file" /reset
For a folder use:icacls "full path to the folder" /reset
For a folder and files and subfolders use:icacls "full path to the folder" /reset /t /c /l
You can try running the installer as administrator, Right click the DugiGuides_1.5.0.exe and select Run as Administrator and accept any UAC prompts. There’s a lot of tutorials on how to take ownership of files and folders if all of the above fails.I can see that there’s 2 other addons running
Indeed you are correct according to wowhead.com.
The quest The Banshee Queen is also marked as obsolete. My game time ran out so I can’t help correct the changes, I get paid next week, I’m sorry Dugi.
(Children’s_Week_Azeroth_H.lua)
all good there Dugi, partially my fault for not paying more attention on the update notes and not playing 100% in WoW, not much time.
I must also clarify, though the decision to remove the dungeon guides was a hard decision. Dugi did look in to this very seriously to implement the change Blizzard made, however, it can’t be done without a total rewrite of the addon, which isn’t worth the hassle, doing so could break the other modules and so on, the risk wasn’t worth it. I totally understand and respect Dugi’s decision.
I am not really sure how they did that.
It’s your decision and you are welcome back any time.I’m sorry, I don’t see the issue in any of the screenshots you’ve provided in regards to the “Gear Advisor”. All I see is TSM which has nothing to do with DugiGuides at all.
The Equipping window is normal for any binding on equip items and it is not related to any addon. Before disabling any addon at this point, can you please take a screenshot of the character window (C), fixating on equipment sets.
I am glad you found a fix and thanks for reporting back with a solution, I will note this down for when I am back in WoW.
Interesting, I haven’t noticed it until now. This happens to me too.
In WoW Classic the dungeon guides will be added.
In WoW Retail the dungeon guides have been removed due to blizzards change a long time ago that prevents addons tracking inside instances. It was a hard decision to make, no possibility to get around that change so the dungeon guides were removed. Most of us do miss them.
Ensure you log in to the Members tab, hit Ctrl + F5 to refresh the cache.
Re-Download the file from the members page.If that still doesn’t work check your subscription.
I have had avast for 3 months using their beta, during this time I have had no issues. In this case you could add DugiGuides_1.5.0.exe to the exclusions list.
Another possibility of this is the rather unusual file extension “_1.5.0.exe” not a typical .exe.
If you need help adding it to the exclusions list please let me know the product and version so I can lend assistance, bare in mind when a new dugi installer version gets released you will need to change the shortcut to new file name and add it to the exclusions list.. again.
