Hi guys, please try reinstalling 9.0.32 to fix this, wrong guide titles will also be fixed soon. We were going to test this earlier, except Blizzard had other ideas and overextended their maintenance by 3 hours.Hi, have you tried speaking to the Jewelcrafting trainer and learn any possible new recipes, the ones required are
- Bold-Print Bifocals – 2x Frameless Lens, 2x Servite Ore
- Sundered Onyx Loupe – 2x Frameless Lens, 1x Sundered Ore, 2x Servite Ore
With Blizzard Support, response times might vary; at best, they’re typically 24 hours, but circumstances can change quickly, and at worst, they can take longer than 72 hours. I was a GM in Accounts and General Issues, so I can attest to this firsthand. I suppose that if I were still a GM, there’s a possibility that I would encounter your ticket. After creating this guide, I’ve tested it on other characters as well. Most recently, I tested it on Evoker, who is currently level 100 and completing daily Jewelcrafting orders, largely from the most recent raids. If you are still having trouble, kindly send us some screenshots of the Jewelcrafting Trainer window and the Jewelcrafting Profession window, both located under Dragon Isles. You can utilize sharex, snipping tool, or in-game screenshots. In the message body, use the Attach File.
I am sorry for missing this thread, currently there is no guide for this, however, we are all hands on deck fixing errors in Wrath Classic 3.043 which Blizzard introduced quest tracking and as a result it interfered with ours. We are also focusing on the next patch for Retail 10.2.0 and there’s heaps of content for us to get. Once the dust settles I guess I can then focus on the guides for the events for Wrath Classic for next year, this will include all events and holiday events, we could use the wrath classic ptr’s to ensure we get accurate data. Most of these are super easy to get, but we’ll see how things goes. Also, I will discuss this with Dugi to see what else we can do and or if it’s viable to get done, now will be too late as there’s only a few days left for this event for Hallows End.My apologies; if it’s not an addon, it might be the result of Blizzard’s quest tracking system, which is now integrated into the game and is conflicting with our addon. One of our programmers is currently removing features that are conflicting with Blizzards. You might have to wait for the next update.
There are two settings Step Complete Sound and Quest Complete Sound. We do not have Objective Progression Sound. Objective Progression Sound makes a sound when you pick up the first item of the ten or fifty items, which is what you described, which is defiantly another addon that’s doing that. Here’s Dugi Guides quest and step sounds – hereHere’s a third party addon, for me it’s ProjectAzilroka – here
You may need to sift through your addons, it’s defiantly another addon that’s responsible for the progression sound. As I just confirmed with you that Dugi Guides does not use sounds for Objective Progression. You can confirm this yourself by slowly clicking each category in the Dugi Settings in-game and look for a setting for Objective Progression Sounds.
mysti35 said:Just to chime in, when I do any quest (for example catch 10 terrorfish) the first terrorfish I catch, I get the “quest is complete” audio. After I catch my 10th fish, I hear nothing. To confirm, enter the settings/dugi config
then click ⚙️ and then under Questing check that Map Ping is selected under Step Complete Sound and Default or whatever the preferred sound you want is selected under Quest Complete Sound. If you use another addon, such as ProjectAzilroka, make sure that only Quest Complete has a sound selected, i.e for me: Carbonite; and that all others are set to None under QuestSounds. While the ProjectAzilroka addon is the addon inteded to be used for the usage of quest complete sounds, you must now ensure that Dugi Guides Quest Complete Sound is set to None, or you will receive two audible sounds every quest complete.
The sound you hear on the first 1/10 complete is called Objective Progression, which sounds more like another addon like ProjectAzilroka is in use.My Investigation
- I have my own addon as well as Dugi Guides and BugSack and BugGrabber running.
- At first I had DugiGuides disabled to see the interaction with the default map frames.
- I then enabled DugiGuides to see the issue at hand, mainly to see if I can trigger the error, though I got no error.
- I can see there is an issue with the ‘Minimize Map Button’ if that’s enabled there are out of place replica minimize and or X buttons. If you disable that feature all is good.
I have made a recording of this bug and I will be submitting this to Dugi.
See video here if Google still does not allow you to play the video online you would need to download it, my apologies.
We are also aware that Blizzard has released the built in quest objectives in build 3.043, we are going to get one of our programmers to remove this feature from our guides, eta on this is unknown.
Just a follow up, I am able to replicate the error, it is not map based, its dependent on the tracked quest in any zone, soon as you open the map window (m) you get the error.
This is related to the new quest objectives as stated earlier. To fix this for now, open the map window (m) and then UN-tick Quest Objectives on the bottom left of the window.
So the options to uncheck are Minimize Map Buttons and Quest Objectives. To see how this can be done, head on over to our Discord Server and then enter the Thread for this issue and follow the steps. The addon is not totally removed by just deleting the folder in the AddOns folder.
Before you proceed, ensure that World of Warcraft is not running.
Open up the Dugi Installer and click Settings button and then click on Repair button, then click on Okay x3 times, finally click Okay to exit the Options. Exit the Dugi Installer and then load up World of Warcraft and check to see if you get any .lua errors. If you do, then it’s not Dugi Guides.
The Repair button will remove all folders in Addons and WTF [Savedvariables] (user and account).Open up the Dugi Installer and click on the Settings button and check your Username and Password, click on the Okay button and then click on Reinstall button to install the guides. If you are getting .lua errors you will need to now disable ALL addons except Dugi Guides, then you can then enable one addon at a time until you can find the culprit. Note the name and then use the CurseForge website and find the addon that’s causing issues and then use their report a bug or ticket to report to them the issue you are having.
According to Wowhead the npc is Quartermaster Lewis and I’ve checked the guide and the NPC id is correct, I’ve also checked the NPC localization file to find that the npc name is also correct.
/way 1436 56.8, 47.2 Quartermaster Lewis
If he does not have the quest you may want to double check the guide, type the following:
/dugi config
Current Guide tab, click Reset button, wait 3-4 seconds then click Reload button, you’d want to click them both once.
If the guide is showing Smith Argus, can you please take a screenshot and attach it to this thread? you can click Attach File or Attach Image
You can use the windows inbuilt Snipping tool to take the screenshot and then use Paint press CTRL + V then click the crop tool , if it’s full screen just click File Save as, give the file a name and choose where to save it then click Save.
Another application you can use, which I use a lot is ShareX, its an open source application and there’s a lot of youtube videos demonstrating how to set it up and how to use. It automatically saves the file, it’s great. 👍😉The installer is programmed to use with Windows or Mac. I know that Steam Deck is linux. Zygor had a linux client and that wasn’t official, and chances are that the unofficial client would error out today. I know this because I saw a thread about this a long time ago. There has never been an official linux client for Dugi Guides, so I am not sure what else I can say or point you in the right direction. Normally I’d point to Linux Wine but, I doubt there would be a script created for DugiGuidesInstaller, as there would be a few to choose from for World of Warcraft.
I am sorry that I am not that helpful. You could somehow get World of Warcraft on to the Steam Deck and then download the .zip files, place the DugisGuideViewerZ in to the AddOns folder, you can do this with any other addon.
Here is a youtube guide on how to get World of Warcraft on Steam Deck (World Of Warcraft On Steam Deck! COMPLETE Setup Guide With Controller Support) – I hope this helpsThere are several methods for directing you to specific guides.

We reordered the guides in the Shadowlads expansion at some point, making them simpler to find at first sight. When things settle down in Dragonflight, we may revisit that idea and rearrange the guides to make them simpler to discover.

I’m also working on Secrets of Azeroth and continuing the Dragon Isles campaign chapters; one of my characters almost has enough renown to get it done. I’ve been busy lately obtaining the essential information for the 10.1.0, 10.1.5 & 10.1.7; and now for 10.2.0. If there is something we have missed or if you have another idea, please let us know kindly. No, the decision was discussed a lot. The main reason is:
- The demand for HC is not there.
- HC players are a different demographic that we normally cater to.
- Overall cost to remake / edit guides and to add settings and tags to cater for this HC mode is too high to consider.
For now disable Dugi Guides Auto Accept features and then use Azeroth Auto Pilot – Classic or Azeroth Pilot Reloaded from CurseForge or WowUp-CF or Cursebreaker / Cursebreaker Configuration Guide.
I’ll report this issue to Dugi to see if we can fix it ourselves; if not, we’ll have one of our programmers look at it.
