Can you please disable all addons except dugiguides and try again.
Ensure that you have updated all your addons, in the Addons view in Character Select screen, ensure that Load Out of Date AddOns is unchecked, then uncheck Out of Date AddOns.
To this day most AddOn developers are slowly updating their addons since the release of 10.1.5.If you still got issues, try /dugi fix, if that still doesn’t work try reinstalling the guides using the Installer. Ignore the Announcement post for 10.1.0. Ensure that the version you install is 9.0221.
I hope you get this resolved ππ

I have purged all WTF/Account/Addon files prior to guide installation and Battle.net client/game launch.Message: InterfaceFrameXMLBindings.xml:43 Error loading Interface/AddOns/DugisGuideViewerZ/Test.lua

@everyone please make sure that you update your addons using any addon updating software, even Cursebreaker if you use it.
In the character select screen please make sure that Load out of date AddOns is unchecked and that you uncheck any Out of Date addons then log in. This should minimize any .lua errors. In the next few days addon developers will be updating their addons, please give them time, 10.1.5 is a huge change and will break any addon that’s not updated.dixieforever said:im not able to get wow classic wotlk to install now it wont go to the classic folderCan you please click on Settings and then check your install paths
Default path for Wrath/TBC “PathWorld of Warcraft_classic_”
Example
The others should have _retail_ for Retail and _classic_era_ for Classic Era.
If Retail and/or Classic Era is red, then click the Ignore Retail and/or Ignore Classic Era checkboxes righthand side of the field. Can you please retry?
gaellin said:The 2nd method you shown is the mothod I have always used. For some reason the download is not giving me 3.040 even though it shows this as the downloaded filename. I usually also wipe the DugisGuideViewerZ directory before copying over from the downloaded zip.I used the downloader just now, updateed correctly to 3.040. Seems like maybe the link was not updated at the time I downloaded the zip. Working now ty.
I am glad you resolved this, but, this still shows issues with the browser, perhaps try clearing your cache, ensuring that all options are checked to be sure.
If the issue still persists perhaps try this.
Installing a different browser for now, relog in to the members area and downloading the file using new browser.
If the issue still persists, uninstall new browser and then do the following.- While on the desktop, press β key and type Internet Options.
- Click on Internet Options.
- Click on Security tab.
- Under Security level for this zone click Reset all zones to default level button.
- Click Apply button.
- Click OK button.
- Reboot the computer.
- Retry downloading the file.
You are welcome to use Notepad++ (free) to edit the .toc file and verify the ## Title and ## Version tags.
Here’s the video https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T-ySp1ryRmXaNgbzDANe9roaz3-CaElz/view?usp=sharing
Take note the following:- Yes, the download link is named 3.033 at this point it’s trivial.
- Upon clicking the link and save window prompt appearing file is in fact 3.040.
- I extracted and edited the .toc file, it is in fact showing 3.040 in name and version.
- I didn’t paste the files over but did demonstrate that the files that exist in my _classic_InterfaceAddOnsDugisGuideViewerZ is in fact 3.040 in the .toc.
- I loaded the game and under addons it is in fact 3.040.
- Under help it does show 3.033, that’s because 3.033 was a major update.
3.040 was to fix minor errors and bugs, Dugi either forgot to make an announcement, but those are trivial changes, it doesn’t really matter if they are announced or not. - The best place to find the current version is in the .toc file and in game AddOns buttons before login or after.
Can you please try and redownload the file from the website or at least use the installer (for now). If you are still doing manual install to pay more attention to the location _classic_InterfaceAddOns please.
I am trying to help you, I have been the whole time.
Ill record a video from the point of clicking download link, to extracting, editing the .toc and then pasting to wrath, loading wrath, showing the addon.
The place of where you are pasting the addon also needs to be precise. It needs to be in the _classic_InterfaceAddOns client game folder.
If you place it in the _classic_era_ that would be Classic
If you place it in the _retail_ that would be retail live clientThis is mainly why I advised to use the installer, even if its just once.
Both ways I have shown you true and correct steps to over come thisTake a look at the name of the file after clicking the download link
Name of file after download
Edits appear to be correct in the .toc file
Can you please redownload and confirm this?Interesting. Okay, click on Members, click DugiGuides_Wrath_3.033.zip and save it to where you want it, note the file being saved IS DugiGuides_Wrath_3.040.zip
Extract it
Copy the DugisGuideViewerZ folder to your _classic_InterfaceAddOns folder
If it asks to overwrite the existing, choose Yes.gaellin said:Dugi guides no longer loads in game, this has been since WotLK Classic recent update. Addon shows as 3.033 on Dugi download page, then as 3.040 once downloaded but as 3.031 ingame.gaellin said:Dugi guides no longer loads in game3.031 ingame.I’m confused, is it showing in game or it isn’t, a major inconsistency there. Since you said in game it shows 3.031 despite you installing 3.040 then do the following:
Can you please run your Dugi Installer.
- Click on Options.
- Check your game paths
Default locations which does matter if you on purposely changed them:
Retail = PathWorld of Warcraft_retail_
Wrath Classic / TBC = PathWorld of Warcraft_classic_
Classic Era = PathWorld of Warcraft_classic_era_ - Click Repair
- Click Okay x3 times.
- Click Okay.
- Click Reinstall
Run the game and check again, the guides should appear as 3.040
If you don’t have Retail and or Classic Era installed, you can eliminate the red highlight by clicking Ignore Retail / Ignore Classic Era check boxes, these are found far right hand side of each location field. With them checked, the Installer will no longer check those install paths. There’s no need to change the _client_ at the end of each install path.
Example 1: This is if you don’t have Retail and Classic Era installed
Example 2: This is if you don’t have Classic Era installed
Ignore my Drive letter.
