I’ll chat to him in discord about it, will post back later π
It looks to me that it’s not finding the launcher. I’d double check the World of Warcraft path, it should be something like this:-
- ApplicationsWorld of Warcraft
- ApplicationsWorld of WarcraftWorld of Warcraft Launcher
The Applications may change if you installed World of Warcraft to a different folder.
Baring in mind that I don’t have access to anything other than little info given in your postIn Dragonflight zones its best to use a macro.
#showtooltip
Renewed Proto-Drake
/stopmacro [indoors]
/cast [advflyable]
/cast [flyable] Sunwarmed Furline; [noflyable] Gilded Ravasaur
/cast [swimming] Subdued Seahorse
/dismount [mounted]Just replace the Renewed Proto-Drake with any of these if you’d like a different Dragonflight mount.
Renewed Proto-Drake = Unlocked in The Waking Shores
Windborne Velocidrake = Unlocked in Ohn’ahran Plains
Highland Drake = Unlocked in The Azure Span
Cliffside Wylderdrake = Unlocked in Thaldraszus
Winding Slitherdrake = Unlocked in Zaralek CavernNote: [advflyable] (IsAdvancedFlyableArea()) condition was added in 10.0.7. You may notice while in Dragonflight zones you will mount up on your chosen Dragonriding mount and if pressed macro keybind again after mounting up you will dismount and mount on your flyable mount, that’s because they both are flyable technically and Dragonflight zones can still ride flyable mounts but ground bound.
Note 2: You can replace /cast with /use, it doesn’t really matter which one is used.
Note 3: You can change [advflyable] to [advflyable, nomounted] do the same for the rest including [swimming] and then add /dismount [noflying, mounted], this will now stop dismounting while flying, saves those accidental deaths. However, the macro icon will break and will need to have #showtooltip and the mount you want the tooltip to be. eg., #showtooltip Tyrael’s Charger and tooltip will show the info for that mount.
Macro Breakdown:
#showtooltip <- this affects the tooltip and icon to be shown
/stopmacro [indoors] <- this will trigger only if the conditional ‘[indoors]’ is met, it will not do anything while indoors and shows no errors. This can be removed
/cast [advflyable] mount name <- if in Dragon Isles it will cast the mount you chose.
/cast [flyable] mount name <- if anywhere that allows flight it will cast the mount you chose.
/cast [noflyable] mount name <- if flight is not allowed it will cast the mount you chose.
/cast [swimming] mount name <- if swimming it will cast the mount you chose.
/dismount [mounted] <- this will trigger if mounted or flying.
/dismount [mounted, noflying] <- this will trigger if you are mounted and on the ground, it will not trigger while flying. You can modify the macro to how you like it, that’s close to what you want. Maybe Dugi can look at this and perhaps incorporate this in the auto mount feature of his addon.
Another version:
#showtooltip
Renewed Proto-Drake; [flyable] Sunwarmed Furline; [noflyable] Gilded Ravasaur; [swimming] Subdued Seahorse
/stopmacro [indoors]
/cast [advflyable]
/dismount [mounted]This macro does the exact same thing as the earlier one except it’s utilizing the one /cast or /use command. This new macro has 184 characters where as the earlier macro is using 194 characters. If you did want the non dismount while flying this new version would work better.
Non Dismount While Flying:
#showtooltip Renewed Proto-Drake
Renewed Proto-Drake; [flyable, nomounted] Sunwarmed Furline; [noflyable, nomounted] Gilded Ravasaur; [swimming, nomounted] Subdued Seahorse
/stopmacro [indoors]
/cast [advflyable, nomounted]
/dismount [mounted, noflying]This non dismount macro is using 235 characters and falls short of the max 255 character limit. If you were to add /dismount [indoors] it would just fit in sparing 1 character to reach max. ππ
I hope these macros help.
So it does this manual install and via Dugi Installer?
If the answer is yes to both then you would need to submit a ticket to dugi or you can join the Discord server and then direct message Dugiguides; “find Dugiguides in the Member List, right click Dugiguides and then left click on Message”, if he is online he will be up the top or if he is offline he will be in the offline section.
It’s completely up to you on which you choose, just try to keep all account / payment info away from public areas, such as forum and Discord text / voice chat.
For account issues I don’t have the access to look in to that area.mysti35 said:Thanks Ozzi. wowsims would seem to be the easiest to use.A part of me wonders if Wrath is larger than retail! If true, raidbots should start a Wrath site
No, I doubt it is or ever would be bigger than Retail. Classic, TBC Classic, Wrath Classic is not for the weak, there’s a strategy behind everything, right down to when pulling a mob or mob’s, so the experienced would generally play these Classic titles for that challenge and nostalgic satisfaction, the casuals will stay in Retail, hands down.
I find myself not playing the game as what anyone else is doing, I get a character to a certain level requirement and get the data needed for the job at hand, for any of the clients. So far it’s mainly Retail that’s the most active client out of the 3.I hope Raidbots do support Wrath, it will be useful to use as a comparison with other variants, or rather lack of lol
The more tools out there the easier it will be to confirm upgrades and fine tune our characters for PvP or Raiding etcmio said:I don’t seem to have any guide above the Battle for Azeroth expansion in this update. Were you able to see Dragonflight guides before updating?
Using the Installer, ensure that you click Settings, and then verify the DugiGuides website Username and Password. “Highlight all the text and retype; repeat for the password”, click Okay (bottom left) wait and check for Welcome, mio!
Take note of the guides underneath, if they are listed then click Reinstall button and allow it to download and install.
Please test the guides again, if you still have issues please post back with outcome. Good Luck! I hope that fixes the issues you are experiencing.mysti35 said:Is there a link for those of us who do manual updates? It still shows 3.030 Thanks.Unfortunately it’s not able to be downloaded from Members area or from the installer, need to wait for Dugi to fix this up. I’ll give him a heads up in Discord π
Unfortunately I have lost the settings, I think it was with in my previous malfunction in my NAS rack system, I have also frantically searched through some of my backups without any luck.
Talking with some of my guildies in Wrath Classic they are pointing to https://wowsims.github.io/wotlk/
However, it’s not the same, but, it will help with the planning of potential upgrades so it does hit that nail at least. Classic and Wrath Classic quest planning and armor planning is a huge thing, so I hope this site will help you out.As for the settings, I have not given up and I am still looking for them.
Yes, I will also make a DugiGuides “Get Stats for your Character and how to determine what upgrades are good or bad” manual mostly for Classic and Wrath Classic. Retail will also be included for SimulationCraft and Pawn and other variant addons etc.Other sites that can help are:
Classic = https://sixtyupgrades.com/
TBC = https://seventyupgrades.com/
Wrath Classic = https://eightyupgrades.com/You can check the latest version with in the DugiGuides Installer, the Members area, and In-Game.
Dugi Guides Installer
Dugi Guides Members Area
In-Game
ESC > Addons
Look for DugiGuidesViewer 9.0193..or which ever version you may have.
I hope the pics help.
If you indeed have 9.0193, then can you please try with just Dugi Guides enabled. All other addons disabled for now.
Though I have tried to replicate this error and I am currently looking in to the function the error above describes. I am also in contact with Dugi to see if we can find a prevention. Something may be interfering with DugiGuides or it might of have been a case of bad luck at the time, this sort of thing does happen, not just in WOW. What ever it is, we’re looking in to it and hopefully we can come up with a solution.
What version is your DugiGuides?
Yeah that’s true it is for retail, however, I have settings for both classic and wrath classic to use in simulationcraft, the trouble I am having is locating said settings. I know I have them.. somewhere π€£
Another thing for this quest to be able to be acceptable is to complete/finish Return to the Ruby Lifeshrine by talking to a dragon to fly you up to a tower, the quest should complete once you have reached the very top, dragon ride to the Ruby Lifeshrine and turn in Return to the Ruby Lifeshrine and then accept Who Brought the Ruckus?
These are Stat Weights, they are datamined from SimulationCraft Program, Pawn will uses this data along with:
Most popular sites are Pawn and RaidBots, my guild in Wrath Classic use RaidBots.
Here’s a wowhead thread that will step you through to obtain and setup and use SimulationCraft to get your own data and then steps you through how to use Pawn.
You can do the above to get your own stat weights, use pawn to get the export code. Import that code in to Dugi Guides Gear Scoring > Import Scores, paste the import code and then click Apply button, allow the Ui Reload.
I can whip up a proper DugiGuides forum guide to do this for both Wrath Classic and Retail, but my current work load is somewhat high atm and this will be done in my free time.
It’s my pleasure γΎ(ββ _β )γβͺ
Icon Arrow is in Classic Era and Wrath Classic too. It’s there in your Settings screenshot.
If you are using the Classic Arrow, then you can then hold CTRL and right-click on the arrow, hover mouse over Arrow Scale and click the desired one, like 150% for me.Repeat the same steps for Text Scale.
This is 150%Again this is the same steps as Retail, Wrath Classic or Classic Era
