I am so sorry, I’ve missed this thread.
Dugi has got the main programmer to look at a few things with the addon, the items button seems to work fine in PTR 10.0.7 and 10.1.0 but not live for some reason.
For the scale when “CTRL + right click > Arrow Scale” I have asked a question to Dugi about this, and he says “Icon Arrow doesn’t change scale at the moment”
“Waypoint is on a different floor”
This is normal, it’s indicating that the waypoint is in a different map.For the “Who Brought the Ruckus?” quest you have to do the dragonriding intro quests, even if your main did them.
pjmayo said:I like the Story Only guides but I keep running into points where I cannot continue. Starting other guides from scratch have also left me stumped when the beginning step is unreachable or undoable. Can you please give an example?
May I suggest to use BTWQuests and BTWQuests: Dragonflight addons, TBH all his modules will be great to get if you do that content.
This addon will show the prerequisites for each storyline, it will also show what you are up to in that storyline. Would take a bit to get used to it, but it is helpful, especially for those mount repeatable daily quests.Chromie time only works and is relevant between 1-59, if you want to run all expansions, I suggest to enjoy the content using chromie time, once you hit 59 I would seek out the npc as I mentioned in my first reply to you and lock your experience bar, You can still quest and get the rewards, gold, armor, rep etc except experience. You will remain the level you locked to. Once you have finished with Chromie time, seek out the npc and remove the lock, resume your questing. You may need to run a few dungeons until you ding 60 to qualify for the Dragonflight questline.
Between 1 – 60 you can use Heirlooms if you have them and upgraded 5/5 or 3/3. 60 – 70 don’t worry so much about heirlooms, questing in dragonflight will give you good questing gear from quest rewards, npc rng drops etc. It all depends on your play style, dungeons also drop decent gear too, then there’s pvp and war mode, bfa > shadowlands > Dragonflight reward decent gear for war mode.
When you ding 60 proceed with Dragonflight.
**Note that soon as you hit 60 chromie time ends.**
Basically without chromie time, yes, you will be too powerful for the ‘old’ content, you one hit kill npc’s etc, it’s super annoying if its a quest where you are required to injure an npc down to ‘45% – 55% hp’ and use a quest item on the npc. A good work around would be to use Soft Foam Sword on the npc and quickly use quest item before auto attack triggers, however, the issue is that sometimes the toy bugs out and you can’t use it at all. This is where chromie time comes in to play. With this mode, the expansion you choose will be within your level range and the rewards and npc’s will also scale to your level.
If you have any more questions, you can join the DugiGuides Discord Server listed in the Support page either pop questions in the server or Direct Message me Ozzi#9217highpitch said:It was happening on Version 90190 retail but it seems ok now, thanks for the Notaint advice as well, I will have a look at itWell that would explain your errors, can you please update to 9.0192 and test again.
I really hope that Notaint addon will help reduce the issues you are facing. But defiantly updating the guides should do the trick. What version of DugiGuides are you using?
I also recommend to use !!NoTaint2, in-game type /notaint2 and that’s it, all characters on that account “!!NoTaint” will work for you to a degree. Perhaps NoTaint can help you in this case.Yes they can, take a look at this https://www.wowhead.com/guide/leveling/dragonflight
I would start at 10 and do the expansions you outlined. If 49 is your choice then at that point I’d freeze my experience between 49 and 59. Take a look a this Blizzard topic https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/15422 doing that will maximize your chance to do all the expansions using Chromie time. To resume your experience, just visit that NPC and pay to undo it.I wish you all the best.
I am sorry but I cannot replicate this, can you please try with just Dugiguides enabled, all other addons disabled.
highpitch said:I use a a lot of macros when I play and have recently found that Dugi guides has somehow caused a malfunction where i cannot create a focus target by any means. As soon as I disable Dugi guides I am able to create @focus Target
Which client are you referring to? Retail, Wrath Classic or Classic Era?
With Dugi Guides enabled I am able to use @focus quite easily. How are you writing your macro, perhaps I can help? or you can look at this website https://wowwiki-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Focus_targetHere’s my macro on my Hunter and selecting a random target as my focus and ensuring target is cleared /cleartarget.
#showtooltip
/cast [@focus] Hunter's MarkDrag the new macro to action bar and then clicking it, it works as expected.
I just need the client so I can properly test this, I was in the retail client.
Another macro I used to test with ..#showtooltip
/target Cliffside Pollinator
/focus
/cleartarget
/cast [@focus] Hunter's MarkThis above macro work’s as expected as well.
You could make a ticket that way you can include your brother’s username. Other details of payment can then be discussed privately between you and Dugi (●’◡’●)

Ram1378x said:I tried the update, then a reinstall and then a repair and reinstall. Unfortunatly, that didn’t work.Maybe this has to do with me being a Loyalty member? I purchased Dragonflight in order to get that to work and then Dugi refunded me. Maybe I need to purchase the Dragonflight achievements and professions to get the 10.7 new content to work?
Please let me know when you have time.
Thank you for working with me on this.Yes, that would have something to do with it, You would need Dragonflight Achievements and Professions guides for you to see and use those guides.
@Ram1378x can you please click reinstall in the dugi installer, try the guides in game again, I hope this will help you. 😉 Think of this as a present and a thank you for using our guides.👍
Ram1378x said:Thanks for that option. I tried the copy/paste Guides.xml as you mentioned but unfortunatly that didn’t work.
I’m sure Dugi will address it soon. Thanks again.
Can you please try updating, Dugi added the fix but the version remains the same.
Mine is working because I fixed it, Dugi still needs to fix it his end. I think he is busy today, I left him messages, when he has time he will see them
You can either wait for that to happen or. download and extract Guides.zip to your Desktop, copy Guides.xml and then go to your World of Warcraft installation.
Proceed to _retail_InterfaceAddOnsDugisGuideViewerZDugisGuide_Dragonflight_Ach and paste the new Guides.xml, when asked to overwrite, choose yes or overwrite option. When Dugi releases the update use the installer and update the guides using the update button.
Here’s the Return to the Reach guide
Here’s the Glyph Hunter guide
As I have said earlier, I have notified Dugi, once he is ready and reads my message he will fix this and upload a new version, so keep an eye out for that, he might increment an update and keep it the same version, if that is the case, I will announce it here.
