I downloaded version 1.055 before I saw where you asked me to test this, but it seems to work now. I was on 1.054 I believe.
When I first logged in and looked at the quest log, gear advisor wasn’t showing anything in quest log but prices were. I changed to my fishing pole which made the gear advisor window pop up, changed back to staff. Looked through the quest log and saw both prices and gear advisor, so it works now.
If you didn’t make any changes yet, then I don’t know, wasn’t working before. Vendorprice had an update but it didn’t seem like much of anything but who knows and some other addons.
