June 8, 2021 at 11:38 pm in reply to: Dugi Installer 1.5.0 not installing the Classic TBC guide #169146
I am having to manually update TBC as well. This is the 2nd or 3rd update where I have found it necessary to come to the website, download and manually install.
Thanks Dugi. Turns out that somehow a version of the retail guide was saved onto my HD as a system file. I can’t seem to delete it (my mac tells me I don’t have permission and I can’t get that changed) and it was defaulting to that version. It is only the retail side – so I deleted and am installing WoW in hope that it will stop using that “system directory” and use the correct path to my removable HD.
Thanks Caluril! I tried the /dugi fix and that didn’t work. Then I clicked on repair and it totally wiped my retail install and I had to reinstall it. That didn’t fix the problem either. Still got the same error window popping up every time I did anything. I checked Classic and it is working perfectly. Any other suggestions? Pic includes the error window.
OH, I have completely deleted the files from my HD and reinstalled. Didn’t change anything.
Dugi – twice I have died while questing and when I recover my body (Level 9 in Mulgore) the direction arrow and directional pointer is no longer there. Also, I was working on MAzzaranche and have everything except the Plainstrider scale. The quest is telling me it is ready to turn in and I can’t because I don’t have all the items. I do have the other 3 required to turn in this quest. Just an FYI.
I’m having an update issue with the installer. It tells me to update with current being 8.747 and newest being 8.746. Play button never appears and I have “updated” about 10 times. I even rebooted my MacBook and still doesn’t seem to recognize that I’ve updated.
Same issue here. No leveling guides at all. Only World Quests and I’m level 50 on that toon. HELP!
