Why?, literally nothing has changed except the bug report link now goes to the discussions forum. This is still the exact way to install Dugi Guides manually in Windows.Any suggestions? ::smile:This solution fixes long loading screens so why not this.World of Warcraft_classic_CacheADBenUSDBCache.bin
Log out / Close wow
Find DBCache.bin in the path above
Copy/backup the file to a safe location – just in case
Delete the file in the folder above – Only the file!Log in to wow – a new file is created by the clientNone of your info / settings is deleted – it’s just a junk file that grows bigger and bigger over time. If Blizzard did this automatically many headaches would be gone ;PIt’s worth a shot.“Tanaris (49-50)
Step 27 !Super Sticky <– Pick up”Just to confirm. Guide told me to pick it up last night. Moving it to the Un’Goro Crater (51-52) does seem to be the logical change as I suspect this happened because of a skipped zone.Tanaris (49-50)
Step 27 !Super Sticky <– Pick upUn’Goro Crater (51-52)
Step 32 *Super Sticky – TaskAzshara (52-53)
Step 2 ?Super Sticky – Turn inFrom what I can see, all the steps are in the guide. I’m finishing Feralas (48-49) now so I’ll reach the pick up soon, on my 4th 60, and I haven’t experienced any errors with that particular quest yet in any of my runs. I will make a detailed ticket though if I see anything wrong but I doubt it.
March 19, 2020 at 10:18 am in reply to: New to Dugi Guides n have a few questions before i sub. #167807You’re welcome. This should help you get started if you decide to try it out. The version on Twitch contains 1-20 if I remember correctly so you can try it out.The third post makes it really easy finding quest targetsMarch 18, 2020 at 10:26 am in reply to: New to Dugi Guides n have a few questions before i sub. #167803“As far as leveling in classic, can I just move to a zone appropriate for
my level and start questing and it will switch to that zone?”:Yes. It’ll suggest a guide and you’re able to pick one yourself too. There’s a “suggest guide” option in the interface too.Just realized my answer was a bit longMarch 18, 2020 at 10:12 am in reply to: New to Dugi Guides n have a few questions before i sub. #167802@anointedone82 Unless you’re doing Dungeons/Grinding then you really need to do “all” quests in every single zone. The guide is divided into zone guides that fits your appropriate level. You can change zone guides at any point and the guide will sync. It’s basically designed around World of Warcrafts “illusion of choice”, since levels decide whether a zone is at the appropriate level.Example: I do both Darkshore/Westfall to push my character ahead to make quests green ( https://www.dugiguides.com/discussions/#/discussion/447/leveling-tip-to-grind-or-not-to-grind-thats-the-question-classic ) so that’s my choice. You don’t have to though. The choice is there, as much as the game allows. It allows me to skip the ****** quests in the end of the Darkshore guide and still be ahead.Sometimes you’re asked to go to another zone to pick up quests/turn in to make sure you can complete the quest chains and push you to the correct level for your character. While you travel it will ask you to do quests on the way, pick up flight points etc. so no time is wasted. Plus it takes advantage of clever terrain shortcuts.“Has you jumping all over the world”: In a sense it does because that’s how the layout of the quest levels is designed. A zone can span over several levels. Example: Redridge starts in the early 20’s and end in the late 29’s. It’s not possible to gain 9 levels in that zone alone. You enter Darkshore at around 12-13 and it still has quests in the 20+ in the end. Many zones are designed like that. Darkshore is essentially two zones in one etc.Westfall/Redridge, Duskwood/Stormwind. Some jumping there but you get a huuuge XP bump, especially in Duskwood. It’s crazy amounts of XP in a very short time, it would be completely madness to skip it.Does it happen a lot? Nah. Most of the breadcrumb quests are picked up while you travel, example in Ironforge. You’re only asked to pick them up while you’re there anyways. It has profession leveling guides too.Is the Dugi Guide icon gold or silver? Just a thought cause it happened to me once in the starter zone, I forgot I had the guide in Essential mode (silver).
February 3, 2020 at 11:33 am in reply to: alot of guide errors and general consistency in questing in classic alliance guide #167666@junthar12
This is not my experience with the guide. It’s very linear and makes sure you get the correct quests in the correct order so it’s possible to continue the story lines in the next zone and it suggests the quests that are safe to skip etc.Regarding testers:
Personally I’ve got 30+ pages of reports for the Alliance guide alone from leveling several characters to 60. Currently working on my 4th. The response on the forum after my runs was “Alliance guide feels very smooth and detailed now”. Also did a Horde run and now it’s very rare that someone reports anything. Done most starter zones too. They weren’t even 30 pages of errors. Most of it was just me being OCD about it. Dugi loves that. More work! Tiny adjustments to the arrow when it were pointing at NPC’s or an extra travel dot or a secret passage to get from point a-b quicker etc. (you can thank me for that Horde). Adding better details about what to do in a quest etc. A few had the NPC names switched around or a simple typo.
Fact is, the guides are very smooth now and absolutely on par with the retail guide, if not better, since the quests aren’t changing (except for added phase quests). If there’s something to report then it’s easy. Right click the DG icon and go to Current Guide. Note the step # and the quest name followed by a short error description. Doesn’t have to be a 100 line report or a personal diary about how it ruined your life spending 5 minutes to figure it out. Open a ticket and copy paste your notes. You can upload a picture too.Example:
Zone name (1-10)
Step 1 !Do my awesome quest
- questgiver asked me to do stuff
Step 3 ?Do my awesome quest
- didn't turn 60 after one quest
- also didn't get free epicYou don’t have to though
Edit: Not claiming the guides is 100% error free, but I’d like to see examples and be proven wrong. If there’s an oversight anywhere it’s important that it gets fixed so we all get the best leveling experience possible. I do claim that Dugi Guides is the best guide both in design, features and leveling experience. And bugs gets fixed fast: https://www.dugiguides.com/discussions/#/categories/updates
Classic:
Just tried “Find nearest” -> “Repair” in Theramore Isle by using the magnifying glass on the mini map. Worked fine. tested repair.
I’ve had a misplaced prof. trainer but it was reported by another user and fixed.Retail:
Same. Though The “Find Nearest” and some other options, is located in its own frame below the menu that opens when clicking the magnifying glass. Just click the magnifying glass again if it disappeared. Worked fine. Tested mailbox and repair.- Right click DG icon and go to Settings (cockwheel at the top)

- Right side: untick !Nameplates Tracking or Show icon/Show text
Could be this:Only seeing trial 1-20 guides after
updating with Twitch (former Curse) client? Right click Dugi Guides in
Twitch client and choose ignored. The Twitch client version only
contains trial guides and it will override your existing guides if
downloaded! You should always get the latest version from: https://www.dugiguides.comIf you click on BlizzMove in Twitch client and go to version and revert to v.1.9.3 then the problem will go away and from what I can see, everything still works ( I use it too).Or here if you install manually: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/blizzmove/filesI haven’t tried v.19.7 yet. Don’t want to log out of classic atm ::smile:Edit: Notice the little red arrow to the right of the frame at the edge of the top of the window. Maybe the new version fixes it. It is a BlizzMove prob. though.Right click DG Guide Icon Button.
Go to: Home -> Leveling (expand by clicking +) -> pick a zone with a good mix of green/yellow quest (they give the same XP). Do not worry too much about the lvl requirement. If you’re 22 and there’s a 21-22 guide filled with green/yellow quests, then pick that. If you see a grey quest with a (*) this means it’s part of a chain. You may want to do it if you want the follow up quest. Up to you.If there’s a quest not in your log, then go to Current Guide and double tick until there’s a red X. It’ll then skip all steps related to that quest. Same if you want to skip a grey quest. Just remember, you can’t red X in the quest tracker, has to be done in the Current Guide window.Doing dungeons requires you to be more aware of your quest log, so it doesn’t fill up with grey quests. Some you have to delete and some quests you need to red X because you’re ahead of the guide.
2. Left click the DG Icon Button to see the notification and get access to the quick settings. (Right click opens the guide menu).
3. You can use the Dugi Guides Automatic Installer and run it before you start wow or do it manually https://www.dugiguides.com/discussions/#/discussion/15/guide-manual-installation-guide-by-football .. you can see the latest version in the installer or if you go to MEMBERS at the top menu on this page.
Regarding Twitch app and DG. “Right click Dugi Guides in Twitch client
and choose ignored. The Twitch client version only contains trial guides
and it will override your existing guides if downloaded”. Always get the guide from dugiguides.comWelcome back
