I have a question about the merging of your AddOn and Blizzard’s Quest Tracker. Will the Merged one show what the AddOn itself shows when mergeded? Meaning will it show the name of the quest of task (like it does now) or will it just show the Objectives (Quest).
@lilocowboy, it is showing the quest of task, and the objective with optional cord tooltip is shown in a bubble like before. It’s already working with the current version. Try it yourself. It’s awesome! Much cleaner interface this way. The tooltip anchor can be placed at the top/left/right/bottom aso. Very convenient. Watch the video mate 🙂
I purchased the last Dugi Guide, but have not been able to download it The program is just sitting in my quew for the past couple of months
@Max McIntosh, I’m sure if you go to the support link above and submit a ticket, that Dugi & Staff will try to help you. A couple of months without Dugis Guides, would drive me nuts .. gogo 🙂
Outstanding additions to an already great guide!
Hi Dugi
Been using your guides like forever and i am 60 years old! i have levelled 2 or 3 85’s now and do not know what i would do without my Dugi guides.
I was very happy to see unlike some other guides that you always include “options” in your guides after all we are not all wired up the same way when it comes to game playing, the abilty to choose is, in my humble opinion essential. If i like i keep it running if i hate i can switch it off. Brilliant! always look forward to your emails Dugi cos i know they are always filled with useful info and help.
Long may you reign as Number 1 master addon maker LoL!
Billy
@Billy G,
I’m glad to see that I’m not the only senior on here.
@Billy G,
hi I,am 63 soon will need aold timers guild
I to am 60y/o. A little slower than me kids and grand kids who play this game.
Great addon it has helped me verry much. A server for us seniors would be great, But Blizzard will not hear us.
Thanks Dugi for your guids.
@Billy G, Hi guys, I guess so far I am the oldest at 64, and find the guides an asset i need, not the fastest player! a senior guild now that sounds a great idea ??
The guide now does everything I want.
Can’t fault it in any way.
Looks great can’t wait to use them
way cool, can not wail for it.
I’ve only had your guides for a couple of weeks and I’m very impressed with them. This new update looks great. It is evident that a lot of hard work has been put into them.
Great but will there be a disable in combat feature
@Goldmoon, assuming you mean the map? If you hoover above the map, it will be solid and you’ll be able to close it by the X. or you can close it by pressing M.
@Goldmoon, we will probably offer that option aswell eventually.
You never cease to amaze me!
love it! Yet again raising the bar, and leaving the competition in the dust. Just promise me you’ll never try to switch to subscriptions like your competitor tried. 🙂
@Corbin Carling, I promise 🙂
Looks great! Will the tracking now also be able to switch between targets, when there is more than one type of target for a quest? F.ex. if you need to find “Troll Shaman”, and “Troll Warrior” for a quest today, the targeting will only target one of them, even if you change the model in the model previewer. If the target button changes to whatever is in the model previewer, it would be a big improvement!
@Jesper Ryskin, The first video above is answering your question. When you switch quest in the tracker, the modelviewer will switch too, as will the target button 😉
@Jesper Ryskin, currently the target button will rotate between the two target.
eg 1st click “Troll Shaman”
2nd click “Troll Warrior”
@Dugi, First, I was surprised that I missed it. I now realize it is because I put the button in my action bar, and has a key bind. When using the key bind, the target will only be the first of the available ones. However, when clicking your button with my mouse you are right, it switches.
@Jesper Ryskin, that is our fault for not pointing it out in our video, and also recommended the wrong way of keybinding the target button. ( I will fix that up)
the best way is to create your own macro with the following
/click DugisGuideViewer_TargetFrame
and this will work exactly like clicking the target button.
@Dugi, Thx – however this macro does not work at all (for me).
sorry about that it should be
/click DugisGuideViewer_TargetFrame
This is great. Thank you Dugi.
Features look great cant wait to try them out. Thanks Dugi.
Awesome DUDE….keep up the great work!!!!!
One word: awesome!!
Now just please get the nerf bat out and smack ESET Smart Security 5 developers around the head 😉
@Dirrrty, What’s wrong with Smart Security 5?? I didn’t know it was even out until I read your comment… should I wait to upgrade?
you sure do a lot of work to make your guides so comprehensive But I’m having trouble trying to keep up with so many changes. I only hope I will catch on as time goes by.
@Carmana, As with all things you will find what works….Have a question…? Look in the Forum
Most things you have a question with, maybe an issue for someone in the past, if not Ask…
Wow, it’s stuff like this that makes me glad I went with Dugi guides. I’m specially happy to see the integration with the Blizzard objective tracker, since the limitations it has drives me nuts. (But I don’t want to go download a single addon just to manage it.)
Thanks to everybody working on Dugi guides, keep up the good work =]
Hi
Is there any plan to have a google like map like the one in Carbonite i really hate the original wow map, this the main reason I don’t get you guide.
@Henrik, I don’t think we will ever go as far as creating the google style map.
@Dugi, Unfortunately, that’s the one thing that I was hoping this was about. Until that happens, I’ll still be tempted to use Carbonite. Also, I like how Carbonite can show me where virtually any vendor, mailbox, etc is in the game and gives me a waypoint to get there.
But I also understand that’s a different kind of addon entirely, not necessarily a leveling addon like this one is meant to be.
@Dugi, I was also hoping that you replaced the default map. I also hate it, and like the Carbonite one. I love how the Carbonite map handles the way points, and has the points of interest built in. If you want me to drop carbonite, you will have to replace the default minimap with something along the line like the carbonite map.
Both features look good to me, so I’m looking forward to the new release.
Love the new features. I’m about to level my first 85 toon and I can honestly say without Dugi Guides I’d be lost. Thanks for your updates and additions and keeping your guides bug-free. I’ve used other guides and can tell you that yours are tops. 🙂
