Hi, everyone we have been quiet the last couple of weeks but that’s because we are very hard at work with putting finishing touches on the major update with Dugi’s Guide Viewer v4.1

As you may have noticed Dugi’s Guide  just gets better and better with every new update and we’re moving at the speed of light!… well not quite, but we are fast 🙂

Check out the screen shot below and you will notice a couple of major features that we have been working on for a while.

The 2 new major features are

  • Display of quest level with color coding.
  • And the ! ? will now change color to grey  if you’re not at a high enough level to accept the quest so that you will know before reaching the quest giver.

Combine these 2 features with our ‘Chain Quest Linking’ feature and you are now in complete control on how fast and how slow you want to progress. You can now gain experience points with other methods such as dungeons or PVP and you don’t have to worry about being out of sync with the guide.

If you’re using Heirloom items or playing with Recruit-A-Friend you can now also easily skip the green – grey quests that won’t give you much experience and with our ‘Chain Quest Linking’ feature you will never be out of sync with the guide.

We have been testing this feature extensively and we’re confident that these features are better than any other features that other competitor guides have to offer as you will have complete control.

From the screenshot above you may notice  2 new *censored* tabs ,  both these tabs are reserved for our brand new guide that is going to be released on May 19th.

All you have to do is leave a comment in this post  and also ‘Guess’  the correct guide that we’re going to release

I will give you a hint…  it is an In-Game guide! 🙂 …

sorry I’ll do better than that, here it is.

profession guide. Only makes sense to level profession with toon

    • Hal

I have already mention that I think it’s the Dungeon Guide, I also believe that this would make Dugi’s Guide stand out from all the other guides.

We have a brilliant 1-80 Guide, in the background we have a great profession guide which could probably translate to the dugi in-game guide, The gold guide is highly dependent on realm and faction. An achievements guide would work well in-game.

But the guide is about getting from 1-80 first and foremost, and doing dungeons is a big part of that for me, accumilating gold really happens after you hit 80, unless your saving for your mounts.

      Just my opinion.

      In-game dungeon guide

    • Deanna McArthur

I have to say that the two most useful and appreciated guides would be the dungeon guide and profession guide. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I get lost in even classic dungeons, let alone the longer dungeons in Northrend. Those are my guesses for the two new guides. You’re the best, Dugi! I’m a strong supporter of your guides and own every single one of them. Whether that means I have literally no life or not… that’s up for debate XD

      • Deanna McArthur

But as I just noticed that i must only pick one guide…. (silly me and getting confused by there being two new tabs) I’m going to say a dungeon guide is the new guide.

    • Colin Kirkpatrick

      Hi.

I think it is Profession Guide. Why?

When beginning from level 1 it is important to be able to make money and sell at the AH.

Therefore, for a complete beginner or a level 80. Professions are the most important

As much as I would love to say in game achievement guide, I cant. I would love this because everyone wants to get the loremaster achievements and no other guide has this. Many have suggested that you make an in game professions guide and you seem to have been very intrigued by this but you already have a gold and professions guide so i dont think it will be this. Looking at your screenshot (I so wanna say achievement guide) I definately have to say that i believe its an in-game dungeon guide. First thing I notice is the “Defias Brotherhood” Head of Van Kleef quest. I know for sure that your leveling guide does not contain that quest so I am leaning toward a dungeon guide. 🙂

    • Kommotoze

I am guessing(and hoping) it is an ingame achievement guide. Your guides for part of the game so far are near perfect and I always hoped you would take on the challenge of making an ingame achievement guide. Thanks Dugi for whatever the new guide is!

    • Steven

In-game dungeon would seem to be a natural progression to your series of guides, so that would be my first guess.
That said, an in game profession and gold making/farming guide would also be a fun addition- think lil sparky’s workshop but with extras.

    • darkdemoneye

I would guess, 1 profession guide. I feel it’s the most likley, but there are two tabs could this all be a trick and it’s really 1 and 2 now that would be sweet. Thanks for all you’re hard work you put out a fantastic product.

    • Casper

I really hope its 3. In-Game Achievement Guide

    • ronacalu

      1. In-Game Profession Guide
      2. In-Game Dungeon Guide
      3. In-Game Achievement Guide
      4. In-Game Gold Guide

………… i think In-Game Dungeon Guide coz there have a lot of quest in dungeon and some player just don’t know where to get the items or where the monster is hiding. This will help the lvl guild and quest.

………… the second one is In-Game Achievement Guide coz lot people want to get the Achievement, but well where do u need to go? where is the place? How many do u need to get it? this won’t help in quest but it is fun to get the title or reward ! For the horde or For the alliance, is which u can’t get it on your own and u get to get a nice mount!!!, The Explorer can get it on your own and get the title The Explorer lol.

………….. i really want to get a In-Game Gold Guide or In-Game Profession Guide, but both of this won’t help in quest or lvl, there have tons of guild which is talking about how to earn gold ! AH farming ! where do u farm for gold? most guild say profession or AH or just to get some rare items and sell or maybe doing quest…… well Dungeon Guide and Achievement Guide is my first and second.

    • Jennette

Though I’m a profession junkie and would love a guide helping with that, I think the Achievement guide would be more versatile and have wider appeal. Trying to keep track of where I’m at, what quests I have to do, what’s currently available due to world events and so on would be a really helpful addition for my higher level toons. I know Dugi is all about helping us enjoy our game experience to it’s fullest, so that’s why I think it will be an Achievement guide.

    • Joan

Wow! While all would be awesome and hope to see eventually (hint hint). I’m kinda torn between Dungeon and Achievement. Its such a pain to try and look up how to complete some of the achievements so I hope that is somewhere in the future but for the first one I have to go with In game Dungeon guide it could fit so well with the questing one (you dont even want to know how long it took to find blueleaf tubers the first time 😉 so thats my first choice. But if you feel inclined I wouldnt say no to 2 at the same time : D (dungeons and acheivements but thats me being greedy).

Your questing and dailies guides rock and have speed up and made my play time much more fun so I’m sure whatever guide it is it will be just as awesome. Thanks for the hard work.

    • Kelly

My first answer would be a Dungeon guide. It’s something that everyone could use, ties in with a lot of quests, good rewards, etc. However, I think that they are adding two. And I think the other one will be Achievements. They already have a daily guide for getting gold, etc, and it would be hard to create an in-game guide to professions because sometimes there just is no other way to level your profession other than buying mats. But my first choice would be a dungeon guide. I would like that 🙂

    • Brian

My guess will be the “In-Game Dungeon Guide” or Dugi’s “In-Game Dungeon Guide”……

    • duds

In-Game Profession Guide would be great so i dont have to keep on looking at other web sites that i have saved from or printed off for refrance

    • Andre

It’s going to answer 1. The dungen becosue there are so many that u have to do to unlock them to get in like my hunter I have so many dungens lock becouse I didn’t meet the qualifications together in.

    • Andres

i believe its the in-game Profession Guide cause that is what most players need help on

    • Chetalou

I am guessing it will be a dungeon guide because that ties in with leveling goldmaking, gathering mats for professions, and achievements.

    • Zylexon

I am guessing it would be a Dungeon Guide as this is the next popular thing besides levelling
