Feast of Winter Veil 2015 Guide

Feast of Winter Veil is here and all Dugi guide users should update to the latest version 7.390 for the in-game Winter Veil quest and achievement guides.

Feast of Winter Veil starts on the 16th so get prepared to drink some Winter Veil Egg Nog, sit by your Cozy Fire, and open your Stolen Present–wait, what? Is that a new type of present we’ve found in the database?

There’s a new holiday gift waiting for you under this year’s tree, and your Father Winter’s Helper has stopped sulking and is ready for some pet battles, so this is one holiday you don’t want to miss!

Changes in 2015

• Seven items can be purchased for 5 Merry Supplies each:

  • Five Garrison Decorations: Old Box of Decorations, Festive Outfits, Little Helpers, Imported Trees, Ball of Tangled Lights
  • One Toy: Crashin’ Thrashin’ Killdozer Controller
  • Savage Gift which can contain the new mount Minion of Grumpus.
• When completing the new daily quests for Merry Supplies, there are snow piles in the area. These can contain Huge Snowball, Savage Snowball, Snowball, and Yellow Snowball. There is also a small chance to find the Grumpling pet inside a snow pile!

• There are new and changed presents under the tree.

  • The Lounge cushion toys ( Fuzzy Green Lounge Cushion, Zhevra Lounge Cushion, Pineapple Lounge Cushion, Safari Lounge Cushion) are no longer found in Gently Shaken Gift. They can instead be found in Stolen Present.
  • “Merry Munchkin” Costume is a new item that can be found in Carefully Wrapped Present.
  • Gently Shaken Gift now requires level 10 and likely contains Red Wooden Sled.
  • Winter Veil Gift contains the 2015 present Crashin’ Thrashin’ Flamer Controller which awards Crashin’ Thrashin’ Flamer

• Gift packs have improved rewards:

  • Fizzy Apple Cider is a holiday item that benefits gatherers–it increases your gathering rate. This can be found in Smokywood Pastures Gift Pack from Treats for Greatfather Winter.
  • Smokywood Pastures Special Gift can also contain Winter’s Grasp and a low chance at Flames of Ragnaros.
  • Graccu’s Mince Meat Fruitcake has been buffed to restore 20% of your health and mana per second, for 10 seconds, up from 5% of your health and mana per second, for 20 seconds.
• Miniature Winter Veil Tree is now ilvl 670
• There is a new and improved Candy Cane which gives your character the appearance of eating a Candy Cane.
